He was on the recruitment doc. Both us and Lincoln are after him. A good player who needs to find the right environment. Something that (as posted previously) FGR isn't

I wonder if it's a loan with a view to buy? Forest Green seem to be wanting to build their squad. I don't see the point in them sending out a player that could benefit them, unless it's to give the lad confidence.

He sounds like a decent talent but if it's just a loan, I really don't think we need him.

It's interesting since the injury of Palmer it seems like we've suddenly focused quite intensely on improving this area.

Given FGR are in serious trouble I don't know why they'd want to let one of their supposedly better players go. Definitely won't please the fans (insert joke about them not having any here).

I think a loan with an option to buy is a good idea though, especially with J'OB potentially on his last season we'd need a replacement in the summer. If it turns out McCann is great, I guess the fee will have already been agreed, so the deal would be pretty straight forward for us.

i think we do need someone more able to be attacking minded, with the ability to hold onto the ball better. with robertson i am not so sure we need to bring in someone on loan but i agree with @Chris if its an option to buy, at least we can retain him if he does do well.

Last time I heard he contributed to a side that got relegated.

We need to be recruiting winners, not losers.
