Because he really hasn't been given a good opportunity. It's like everything else, you have to be in the manager's good books first

when he played, he did well and scored a few goals for us from chances most would not. notts never gave him a fair chance, when we had options and he fell down the order he was not played but when we needed someone like him the most, notts decides to loan him out. i would have only loaned him out had we replaced macaulay langstaff. i am sure the club would say he wanted to go, but considering the chance we gave him i am not surprised.

Yep, I agree with the others, only playing 157 minutes of league football for us last season (equivalent to about 1 ¾ games) won't have helped. He’s played a lot more minutes for Dagenham this season and has only missed two games for them!

I’d love him to return in January and do well, we basically loaned him out and loaned Brown in to replace him, and Jevani has been just ok. I am trying to think of the last time a player was left out/barely given a chance but then came in a did well… Chicksen was probably the last player to fall into this category. Neal Ardley never played him but then Ian Burchnall came in, played him in a back three and he was great!

When we signed him, you would have thought he would have been the signing that Jatta has been given the chance to be. Then again, we might not have signed Jatta if Junior Morias had been a success.

Still, I don't understand why the club didn't make the move work out better. Instead of sending him out on loan, we could have used someone who could score.

The drop in level does seem to be where Junior Morias thrives, but I have always been a fan of his. His pace always seemed something we should have made use of; however, we never did. His finishing didn't seem that bad either; I just felt he needed time to settle and to be actually played. I don't see him returning to us; I fully expect him to leave when his contract expires. If there was any chance we could recall him, I would but considering the club will most likely look to strengthen our options up top - I think it would be unfair to bring him back when he's unlikely to get the game time he deserves.

I don't believe it's fair to write Junior Morias off at League Two level, we haven't seen enough of him and the brief glimpses we did he performed well enough and scored.

At 29, I do hope another League Two team gives him a shot because I think he would succeed.

I don't get why we never gave him a chance, even when we were blessed with the options we had. It's like how we could do with Adam Chicksen, with the injury to Jodi and the lack of options out wide. I would have thought it would be easier to allow players to leave permanently than to loan them out while still contributing to their wages. Neither, I feel, will feature for Notts again, despite feeling like Junior Morias could contribute with goals. Chicksen isn't consistent enough, but always tried.

It's a real shame Junior wasn't given more game time with us. From what we saw, I thought he had potential.

Junior has pace & I think he could still have a future at Notts. Why not try him as a wingback? Notts need pace in that position & I think Junior could do a job for Notts in the wing.

I personally feel that Junior Morias wasn't utilised to his full potential while he was with us. His brief appearances showed glimpses of talent that perhaps needed a bit of nurturing with consistent playtime. The club’s decision to loan him out, at a time when we could have used a player like him upfront, still baffles me.

With his contract nearing its end, I think we’ve missed a trick here. He might just find the form elsewhere that makes us regret not giving him a fair shot. Signings sometimes don’t work out, but considering our ongoing struggles for goals, giving Junior more playtime could have been beneficial for both parties.

Watching Junior Morias perform at Dagenham, I can’t help but wonder what might have been. His time with Notts was brief, yet the flashes of brilliance were unmistakable. It’s disappointing the club didn't invest more time into developing his skill set here.

I understand football is often a game of results and decisions sometimes veer towards immediate impact over potential. However, with our current form lacking, nurturing a player like Junior could have proved beneficial in the long run.

Every club has its share of might-have-beens, and for us, Junior stands out as one. It’s imperative we learn to not repeat such oversights with future talents.
