... for the remainder of the season!

Now this is great news. This young man is going places and the best we could have hoped for is for him to see out the season with us.

Great news, indeed! 🙌

I had a small suspicion that Spurs would've been tempted to loan him to a League 1 club for the rest of the season, given how well he is doing. I think the guaranteed game time he'll get with us (due to Robertson's injury) will have helped our case. He has become a vital part of the team and we really do need him for the second half of the season.

its good to know we will still have him, hes doing well and spurs should understand that his growth has been massive. so pleased that we have extended his loan deal, just have to follow up by securing him for next season now. 😁

Great News.

Just the news we needed.

He's such an exciting player & he is going to have a bright future at the top of the game.

Him being here for the rest of the season will make a big difference to our promotion chances.

Fantastic news, he’s definitely a rising star, I’m delighted he’ll be with us as we push on towards league one.

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

My take, if Spurs are happy with his progression, we would be in a good position to take further players from them next season?

Yes good news, who knows, if we get promoted,  Spurs may agree to let him stay a little longer in league 1, with different challenges and further career progression and development.

Good news that George Abbott has extended his loan spell. It was a touch of class that prompted his arrival, and he's very much the type of youngster we should be taking on loan. He's matured very quickly, from being quite reserved to being a show stealer with his stellar performances.

Just like in the summer, the extension of George Abbott's loan deal is part of the best business the club has done. Hearing George talk about how he wanted to stay, and that he wanted to finish this season off with us. It's a good thing to add to his footballing CV - even better if he gets his wish and helps us to be promoted. He's a very talented player, who could go far with the right guidance.

He's got the skill and attitude, so I hope he does end his season at Meadow Lane achieving the dreams he set out.

He'll be another Jack Grealish and Callum McGregor to our memories of having played for us, before he tears up the Premier League. :D

A field where dreams become reality.

I never felt that George Abbott wouldn't want to extend his stay. It was clear how much he's enjoying it, and why would Tottenham remove him from this environment? If we weren't in the running for automatics and December had us drop off like it nearly appeared, then maybe, but not like this.
