Richly deserved. Didzy has been outstanding for Notts over the five games during the month of January.

He's also been captaining the side while Matty Palmer has been injured. He has certainly been leading by example too.

Fully deserved, from the games I have seen live he injects himself into the play and often helps lift the performance of those around him. He's in such a focused drive form, that I am unbiasedly saying I don't know how he couldn't win.

Didzy has been great this past month, so I hope his contributions and performances get noticed because I do agree David McGoldrick deserves it. What other player his age is showing he's not lost a step playing football?

i really hope he wins it, hes been in fantastic form this season and deserves to win it at least once. i am not sure many have performed as good as him, though i do think we tend to be overlooked since macca left.

Anyone have any idea how or who decides the player of month? A panel of former players, or do they just pick the name out a hat last minute...

Either way it's a well deserved nomination, shame the weekends goal fell into Feb though as that would've surely sealed the deal.

Shaun Whalley can't win it, he broke Matty Palmer's beautiful face! Someone from Notts need to send the scans in and get him booted off the shortlist!

Good luck to David McGoldrick. He's in fine form, and I hope it doesn't stop any time soon.

I am surprised there's been nothing about Stuart Maynard being voted Manager of the Month, though that tends to be cursed. I wish David McGoldrick all the best with being named League Two's Player of the Month.
