A dissapointing defeat tonight against Barrow. It was a poor first half & Notts didn't improve until the substitutions mid way through the second half.

I have included 2 players who came on as substitutes in addition to the starting 11 for you to choose your PON Man of the Match.

The following 13 players are:-

Bass, Gordon, Bedeau, Platt, Traore, Whitaker, Palmer, Macari, Abbott, Jatta, Jarvis, Grant, Tsaroulla.

Please vote for your man of the match & tell us why you voted for him.

This is a difficult one, Abbott had a great game and Tsaroulla and Grant made a difference so for me it’s between those three.

A close call but I’m going for Grant who took his goal well and made a difference when he came on.

My four stand out players are Nick Tsaroulla, Kellan Gordon, Matty Platt & Conor Grant.

Two of my players were substitutes that came on midway through the 2nd half, Grant & Tsaroulla, but they did make a big difference & could easily have helped Notts avoid defeat with a bit more luck.

Of the other players I picked Matty Platt & Kellan Gordon were heads above those who started the match.

For me it was a close run thing between the four, but my choice is going to go to Conor Grant who also scored the Notts goal

I think Conor Grant should have started; he looked to be in good form and played well. Even with him coming on, I still believe he deserves the Man of the Match. I felt very disappointed that Notts couldn't execute many of the chances created. Defensively, it wasn't good either.

I agree that the bringing on Grant and Tsaroulla changed the game for the better. I think both have underpeformed this season. Given that Grant plays in the No.10 role there really is a lot of onous on him to create and score more goals and this season that has be badly lacking. And for me Tsaroulla is a strange one, I’ve never known someone look so comfortable and threatening until they get into the final third that is, usually his shooting is really poor. It was better from his last night though!

Anyway, I went for Abbott just because I see no reason why his goal was disallowed and you can never fault his lack of effort.

I'm pleased to announce that Jacob Bedeau has been voted the Pride of Nottingham's Man of the Match against Barrow. Well done Jacob.Screenshot_20250305-215847.png

I didn't get to go to the game, and I haven't yet watched the full game or highlights. Yet I am sure the right player has been voted for, and it is good to see Jacob Bedeau continuing his form.

Thanks for voting, everyone.
