Good morning, it’s a dull cloudy start to the day here.

Today Mrs. T has got an appointment at QMC at lunchtime I hope we can find a parking space, if not I’ll drop her off and find one further afield, then pick her up when she’s done.

Apart from that there’s not much else happening here, have a good day everyone.

Miserable here too @super_ram it rained in the night and it’s remained cloudy and spitting with light rain all day.

We've had a nice lunch and walk around Elvaston Castle today with Chloe, later I'll be watching the match on the telly tonight, I hope we can get a win, there's far too much negativity about.

Ah, nobody comes here to read about me complaining.

Unfortunately, I am having to rest today and have decided to miss tonight's game. Jake isn't feeling all that well himself; he has some bug, but mine is related to joint and back pain. My friend who takes me to games and his partner are working, and that would have made it easier because I could rest between walks. I have committed to going to Tranmere, which we enjoyed last season and @super_pie is coming with us.

In other things, I have been focusing on the football app.

It's bringing to life important areas of the site, with improvements being made by the dev who's doing an awesome job. I will be focusing on making sure every page is updated, along with appropriate widgets on display. I know that's not exactly exciting, but you would be amazed how it can bring a community to life.

I don’t mind the weather at the moment. It’s much cooler than those heatwaves we had, and now and then the sun does show itself. I applied for a new job today. My last one let me go after I went over their limit for time off. I’m not too fussed, work is work, and I just want to get back into a normal routine. I feel a lot better mentally, though I still have days where I question things.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Good luck with the job application @CliftonMagpie, I’m glad to hear you are getting there mentally, don’t let losing your job affect your progress in that regard, I’ve found in the past after being made redundant 3 times and thinking it was the end of the world, each time I ended up getting a better job, sometimes these things work out for the better.

@CliftonMagpie I hope you get the job.

I'm preparing for my trip to watch Ireland vs Japan in the Women's World Cup next Sunday in Northampton. I'm staying in London. I've never been to Northampton so I'm looking forward to that.

All the best with the job interview @CliftonMagpie routine is something we can't do without.

It's instilled into us from day one, for me it's an important part of my life, couldn't function without it. Having routine really helps where mental health is concerned also, easing day to day woes and worries.

That is one reason I am still working at 68, it gives me a purpose which in turn schedules the day in advance making everything routine.

It’s matchday so me and Chloe will be popping down the Lane to see if Notts can get another win, back to back would be nice. Who else is going?
