What would your starting line-up be? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

Another massive game on Tuesday evening for Notts against one of the leading sides in League 2.

Swindon were beaten by league leaders Bromley on Saturday. They now have three defeats in their last five league games, however Notts will be preparing for a very tough game & they will be aware of how dangerous Swindon can be.

Under Ian Holloway, Swindon have shown the ability to adapt from a patient attacking game to quick counter attacking football, while also displaying an attacking flair that has seen them score high numbers of goals, so Notts will need to be on the ball defensively.

Notts played very well against Crewe & I expect Head Coach Martin Paterson will select an unchanged side on Tuesday. New signing Lee Ndlovu will probably be on the bench, which will give Martin different options at some point upfront.

I think that Notts need to pressure Swindon from the beginning like they did against Crewe & try to get an early goal which would be so important. There will be times when Notts comes under pressure & they need to remain solid.

A third league win in a row for Notts would help them overtake Swindon in the table & would challenge for a top three position if results went Notts's way. I do believe that Notts can get the win, but they need to be at their best.

Consistency is the key. Notts have demonstrated how well they can play at times & if they play at their best they can beat any team in this league. But they need to be able to play consistently well at a high level.

Stern test tonight but hoping we carry on from Sat - but with more goals!

Hopefully, we’ll get a look at Ndlovu at some stage and, maybe, Enoru. We could do with all 3 points in order to stay in contention tbh, it would be a big win & send a message to the chasing pack.

The Notts team to face Swindon tonight.
Hall replaces Palmer in the only change to the Notts 11, with Robertson and Ndlovu coming on to the bench

The fact that we are beating our potential rivals for promotion is big. Long may it continue because if Notts can keep beating our biggest rivals the promotion dream is on.

Terrific performance. How we only scored two will flummox the greatest scientific minds for decades to come, but we did it when it counted.

The PiesPlayer camera spent most of the match watching Ian Holloway's back, enabling me to admire his sheepskin jacket / blue beret combo and watch him become more and more frustrated as the match went on. Glorious.

Another impressive display and an important 3 points. No passengers again tonight, Jones & Hall much better than recent performances and Jatta was excellent again.

We deserved that, industry, mobility and some terrific efforts on goal. We have momentum, need to get as many points as possible from the next little 3 game run.

That’s a great 3 points against promotion rivals, it doesn’t get better than that. The team is really clicking and MP is getting his tactics and substitutions spot on. If we keep up this momentum it could be a great year. The only downside was the fact that Palmer has a hamstring injury and was unavailable, I hope it’s not too serious.
