Notts County duo Kyle Dixon and Greg Tempest set to extend Boston United loan deals.

Dixon's and Tempest's deals expired last Saturday, however our magpie pair look very likely to extend their stay with the The Pilgrims. Boston have been granted permission to discuss it with Notts as Dennis Greene is keen to extend their stay...

Good news? They seem to be doing well. Thoughts? Let PoN know, comment below.

Tempest will not get into our squad, i rate him but he is nowhere near and unless he gets game time I see him being released at the end of the season.

It makes sense to extend, Dixon needs game time too.

Can only be a good thing. Especially when we're in the Championship, thet can work their way in. :)

both seem useful to have, i am not sure why some of our fans have to be so negative about our youngsters. did we not all want them to come through? do people really expect them to be like established players?

they learn the game and from those who are around them, this year we have the squad to bring them more out.

Its nice that they are playing and not just stuck on the bench or not playing at all. It would be nice to see them play for us again too. Its better that they get experience too.

I agree, it is good they are playing, unfortunately I don't see them getting many opportunities with us...

The lads we put out are performing and it would take some seismic event for one of these lads to dislodge any of the first team.

Another earthquake has been predicted before the end of the year,so be prepared.

I don't thin I've seen Dixon play but Tempest hasn't been bad when I've seen him, they both obviously need game time do they are ready should we need them.

Its been confirmed that the duo will remain at Boston United.

Good to see them getting some game time, it should aid them even if they do not make the grade here at Notts.

I haven't really been that impressed with Tempest - he sort of looks like Bambi on ice at times. However this was also when the team were especially poor - such as losing 3-0 to Cov away (northampton). Haynes also got sent off in that game IIRC - couldn't get in the shower fast enough.

Dixon I thought could be a good player for us, however his injury seems to have set him back.

So Tempest back to Boston and Dixon to Tamworth.

I read Boston's fans forum, and it seems like they wanted both back, perhaps more so Dixon.

I'm happy Dixon will be tested at the level above, albeit with the leagues bottom club. He will be playing at a better standard and will hopefully develop his game further. Out of the 2, I view him as the better prospect.
