Unity again.

I am hopeful we can get a good attendance, it would be nice. I think out of all the managers we've had in the past 6 years, Shaun deserves the backing. What he did last season was amazing, what he is doing this season isn't much short of that. I really do believe fans can make a difference, not only in terms of support but it helps the coffers.

The lads, Abbot also deserve it.

Really we do have an amazing chance to turn Meadow Lane into one of the best grounds for that match buzz. Some people think it comes from the pitch, for me I don't really care about pre-match entertainment. It's being inside the roar and support of the fans, example would be Liverpool last season.

It was something!

A field where dreams become reality.

Shaun is doing everything right.

He is showing he learns from the mistakes he makes, such as one striker up front. At away games I dont mind, we need to reign it in at times. He deserves the support, the hard work is paying off and I am under no illusions that the wheel may fall off any time soon but even when it does. I shall be there!

Count me in Shaun Derry!

Dont take this the wrong way!

Shaun Derry could speak on the street, he could voice his passionate views and rally up a storm but that still will not get a decent crowd through the gates. Notts have been lonely on match days for a number of years, fans jumped on the wagon in the munto days because they saw sunshine and roses from then on. It is not going to be like that again for some time.

Best thing we can do is focus on attendances each month, if they start to go up the club is doing something right.

I dont expect to 8,000 at meadow lane for at last 3-5 seasons.

@lambleypie I agree with the first part of your post... I wouldn't put a time frame on the 8,000 crowd though, for me it will be when we step up.

Did we get somewhere around the 10-11000 mark in the top flight (way back when)? and we have been seeing crowds of 6000 ish in the 4th and 3rd tier.

But saying that, crowds nationally are on the rise, so you never know, we may be lucky.
