Floodlight work

I hate how our fans complain, it is good to see the club fixing things but the floodlights worked fine before even with a few blown or not working bulbs.

Firsty, people especially in this case fans like to know places are in good hands and stories like this lead to the feeling that areas aren't being neglected (which isn't the case). I've read comments about it, I've had it pointed to me but honestly? It's not bothered me.

Yes, it's nice to see things working and more so to see an insight like the video you have shared.

However, perhaps from a selfish point of view - I was able to view the games without being dazzled! Honestly, I could and I am a little mindful about them becoming to bright again but I wouldn't complain. Well, I'll let you know after Saturday! No in all seriousness it didn't effect the pitch at all, it's always looked well light and for me it just wasn't worth the fuss.

That said I do understand, some people like seeing progress even off the field.

It includes things like this, no opinion is invalid because that's the wonders of being able to discuss things.

A field where dreams become reality.

Perhaps @captain-ncfc.

Yet I suspect we wouldn't be seeing these improvements or even the video, I suspect it would remain in the background and behind the scenes. Then people would wonder why it wasn't mentioned, there's a mix of responses but overall fans should mention concerns.

No real concern for me but it is nice to see this.

The staff at the club put a lot of effort into what they do, so things like this are just nice.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

No major concern but again it is nice to see.

Take sunglasses on saturday @notts-joe ;) I am pleased to see that the club continue to do all their best to listen and respond to the views of the fans.

I think it's good that the club has taken the trouble to explain what  they've done, and why, with the floodlights.A lot of fans don't realise the amount of work and organisation that is taken for granted to ensure that a football match can take place..

Agreed. After working for several years at Trent Bridge, the paying public really have no idea of the huge amount of work that is needed to maintain a ground. As was same d n the video, things don't and can't happen overnight, they take years of accurate planning and ensuring all finances are secure and not going to be needed elsewhere.

Glad the club keeps us in the loop like this as it makes it more than just football. Used to love going down the Lane when it was being rebuilt. Very interesting seeing how much progress had been made and why it was being done in such a way.

Or the amount of paper work.

On the subject of the floodlights weren't they once the brightest in Europe?? Otherwise for the new ones it just shows how much Mr & Mrs Trew are putting things right at the club .

I must admit I noticed at the last home match that there were a few bulbs missing. I believe I read somewhere that there is a minimum level of lighting which is required by law, I assume with the missing lights that Notts were getting close to the minimum and that's why the floodlights are being revamped.

It will have another effect too, it'll keep us a bit warmer during the cold winter night games.

Rodwell Out!!!

You can't go round fixing things, you can't go round not bankrupting us, you can't go round not employing Evans, in fact you can't do anything, what does he do anyway?

It's all his fault !!

The things he was supposed to do to this club ;)

I've not managed to watch the video yet, however are the new bulbs going to be more energy efficient (saving us money in the long run)?

I'm hoping we are doing it so we can benefit somehow, other than the fact that some people have complained about some blown bulbs!

I preferred trembling's method or just getting loads of those grass growing lamps and then having to give them back later after we hadn't paid for them
