Was he driving a BMW or a Bentley? At the bottom of the article it says he was caught in a Bentley....

Poor journalism? Wouldnt be the first time...

With regard to failing to provide information...not really bright..failing to disclose is an offence in itself.. which normally carries a penalty equal to or more than speeding...

I think the actual story is pretty much a odd story, he's paid and there's nothing more to it.

after or at the time? surely that would prove who the driver was or did they drive off? im confused.

£600 is hardly suitable punishment, the points will mean nothing either! He could pay someone to chauffeur for more than the fine and have done with the points in the process.
