What do you folks think of this?

This is where @super_ram was originally from, so I thought I would share it. I noticed @Dan discussing their new kit, which also is unlike their tradition but the shirts are quite nice. Whereas I don't like this, it's very Americanised.

I like it.I first saw it a few days ago and  even though there is no actual proof  that Alfreton was founded by Alfred the great it does make a nice story. It may appear Americanised as Alfreton Town have American sponsors.I went to their first game in 1959 - Playing in The Central Alliance versus Arnold Town, who had won the league the previous season(if my memory serves me well) Alfreton won 6 - 2.

The people who own Alfreton Town are American, I'm surprised you like it.

Can @GrannyPie please confirm? I want to make sure he's not 'wt* !??!?!?! have they ?!?!?!?!!? !!! done', or I could have asked Kate if he had of read this whilst you called. I miss the days where Granddad would say that Alfreton had lost or had been slaughtered (much like this past season).

I love it and the kit choices they've submitted.

That is hideous, very Americanised. And I don't think sponsors should have any say in how a badge is designed.

Owners buddy, @super_ram is wrong about them just being sponsors. The franchise owners purchased the sole stake in the football club, they seem to have many plans in line because one of them said the ground would see  between £500,000 to £1,5000,000 spent on major developments.

Why does it look like an native American in the middle? Any reason for the king? I am afraid I do not like it either.

That is not a football logo in my opinion.

I prefer it to the old one, that had a tree on it

Looks okay but it does not look like a football badge, more a modern/american logo.

It us very American in terms of style but I actually quite like it, reminds of a hockey logo.

What does @Canadian think?

It's not too bad. When you down size it, to be put on a football shirt. It'll look quite sharp

i dont really like it myself but it seems to fall inline with some of the modern badges being designed.
