General anaesthetic?

How many of you have been "put under" for an operation and what was it for?

As far as I remember I have had a general anaesthetic twice both as a child, one to have some teeth out and once to have my tonsils out.

Twice now. One for a nose op about 15 years ago. They had to remove and replace the septum to try and even it out on both sides so I could breath better. Didn't bloody work though. Anaesthetic was horrendous. I couldn't stop throwing up after.

2nd time was for a grommet in my ear a few years ago. I told them about the chucking up and they gave one pill and no problems at all after it. I tried to get some of the pills but they refused and said it was their little secret! God knows what it was but it worked!

Eardrum op... tonsils out...removal of skin in preparation for skin graft....colonoscopy...removal of growth in noggin...cochlear implants

I had an operation to help my Crohn's disease aged 21.Then about 6 years ago I had an operation to remove a tumour on my pituitary gland.3 years ago I had Carpel tunnel treatment on my left wrist.

I had my appendix out 2 days after my 12th birthday.I played down the pain I was in 'cos the Rams had a home game on the Saturday and I had a birthday party on the Sunday.I had my wrist reset when I was 21 and my collarbone reset when I was 50.
