So the penny returns. Matt Alexander has been appointed CEO of the ladies team.

Don't know him personally ( but knew his dad very well God rest his soul) and I'm not going to slander someone on here, but I've heard lots of things about him previously that cause concern.  Not sure it's a good appointment there Notts. Maybe he'd have been better off out of the club for good.

 

Things can generally cause concern of some peoples past, but people are different with each team. I hope he will do well with them.

Most fans who have spoken of him to me, speak highly of him.

Not sure why the ladies would require a CEO, surely there should be one throughout the club? I personally wish him well. It's a shame he isn't acting as a scout for us though!

Problem is all of his relate to Notts in one way or another.

Hopefully it doesnt affect Notts ladies game play then.. as they tend to do better than us in the past year.

why did the former ceo resign and why hasnt this really been mentioned by the local press?

seems a odd decision to bring someone whos spent much of his time as a scout, to then act as someone who runs the business side of things. i hope it works out!

I am sure he knows what it takes to make the position work for him.

If there are things about his past which involves Notts, it would make the appointment strange but this could all be hearsay. It is interesting to see that Luke resigned, I did not know he had. With all due respect to Matt, he is another staff member Notts will struggle to replace.

I am aware of who he is, but I did not know he had spent time at Notts before. Hopefully he can pick up where the former CEO left off, so good luck to him.
