R.I.P David Bowie

I've only just learned about his death, very sad - it seemed he was planning to revive his career at the age of 69.

Rest in Peace David Bowie

A field where dreams become reality.

I think he deliberately timed the release of his last album to coincide with his death, especially when you look at the lyrics about heaven and dying. It's rather strange but he was never afraid to look a bit weird!

RIP David Bowie, a legend of our time.

He was an artist that certainly spanned the decades and had many faces/personas during his lifetime. RIP David.

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

I'm 40 this year. In my lifetime I have lived through the death of Freddie Mercury (one of the greatest showmen ever), Kurt Cobain (I shed tears), Michael Jackson (the greatest pop star in his day) and now David Bowie (musical genius). One by one my childhood icons are leaving this world. Suddenly I'm very aware of my own mortality.
