Alex Greenwood leaves Notts Ladies

The Lady Pie has been confirmed as the latest addition to the Liverpool who are adding some real depth to their squad, the signing includes a fee which is believed to be a record for us.

I am a little disappointed because she's a good player, as will @Joe Jones (yet for a different reason).

However, if it means we add strength ourselves and of course it provides Alex a chance to settle somewhere she feels at home (since Liverpool is her own town club) you cannot really grumble. Good to her!

Thoughts?

A field where dreams become reality.

it will be awhile before the youth team attract any fees.

If it allows them to strengthen it will be good, other clubs are building wisely and so Notts ladies will need the money.

Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool seem to have more resources than the rest of the league. The rest of the clubs including Notts will find it hard to compete. I don't think Notts will be relegated. They are still stronger than Reading & Doncaster. If the season started now, I'd predict Notts to finish 6th.

I caught parts of the televised final at wembley, I thought she was poor but admit I know little of the ladies.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
