A number of posters have indicated that they like german football. I'm happy to organise a trip for PON members next season to a Gladbach home game once their and Notts' fixtures come out in June/July.

Who would be interested, and what sort of budget would you be prepared/able to pay to cover transport, match ticket and accomodation?

I would be interested, Theres a Saturday 0700h flight from Birmingham to Dusseldorf, budget say 80 pounds but maybe cheaper way in advance. could allow people to book own accomodation, eg Ibis hotel, meininger  etc

I generally use the 2000 Friday night

I best get saving some pennies, as I would love to do this - including possibly seeing @super_pie wants to watch the game also.

It would be a good laugh. I suppose I'll have to roll on with my passport sooner than I expected. :D

That said, I would need advice on cost(s) - I've only been to France once, so Germany would be a new location. I'm sure @Joe Jones can manage PON whilst I'm away for it. haha ;)

I'm up for this, it's not too far from me. No doubt once Deutsche Bahn has ripped me off, it'll cost more than your lots flights!!

Hah I'm coming along! I love Germany and I'd love to see a Bundesliga game. Anything to get the mind off this shambles of a club...

I'm up for this too! Obviously I won't need a flight, but I'd love to add a new ground to my collection. Providing Waldhof aren't playing Karlsruhe in the 3 Liga that day ;)

Maybe @ivansneck has a better tip, but B&B Hotels are pretty decent, always close to public transport / sporting venues and are about as cheap as anything you'll find. The one in Mannheim doesn't have a bar, but it does have a beer dispensing machine! There's one in Mönchengladbach too: https://www.hotelbb.de/en/moenchengladbach

Good idea, it could be a laugh!

Good idea, I have no particular recommendations except to be central like this one is. I think each person needs to suit their own budget. When we pick a date I'll do a proper investigation!

Are you in Bielefeld - I forget?
