Did Stead get the official 'Man of the Match'? I think he did, never would I agree with that.

Audel for me played very well.

I don't care to see him as a left back, yet as a steady - no nonsense centre defender he does the job well. I felt he had the defensively and lead the back well, he looked calm at all stages and contribute nicely. Elliot Hewitt played very well today IMO. He blocked crosses and linked up well - If Audel hadn't stood out so much, I may have named him myself. I thought Collin did alright in goal, more steadier than normal.

A field where dreams become reality.

Stead just shaded it from O'Connor for me.  I don't think Ameobi had a great game, but he did seem to take the pressure off Stead and allow him to flourish more than he does when played as a lone striker or target man.  A composed finish for his goal, and excellent link up play throughout such as setting up Forte to hit the post when he should have clinched the game.

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

Michael O'Connor had plenty of mentions, he seemed to drive most attacks forward but it is hard to gage who is doing what via the magpie player service.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

For me it was a good team performance , if I was pushed to pick one I think Stead   , think big Shola helped him . Agree it was a peach of a pass to Stead for the opener , and the young lad from Arsenal caught my eye can see he is having a good education in football terms .

The goals plus a good example of what Stead offered yesterday at 1:20 in this clip - great touch from Audel's long ball and great awareness to put Forte through on the keeper.
