The Notts reporter from the Nottingham Post Leigh somebody or other (forget his name) has hinted that there may be news of a goalkeeper soon.

Just for fun we should all nickname him somebody or other.

Kevin Nolan said last night that he has not made any decisions over what needs doing and if/or any players would like likely to arrive on loan. He mentioned that he's happy defence, so it sounded like he was focusing on training. Notts fans have been going on about Stephen Henderson for weeks so I take that Twitter page with a pinch of salt.

I would like to see a keeper come in, it would get the best out of Ross Fitzsimons.

Besides, I don't think we can rely on a keeper who gets injured during warm-ups - it just fuels my believe that our existing backup is inadequate.

We need a keeper that is with out a doubt if to keep simons on his tones I agree with @chris on this one

They listed us to be in for half the players in League Two, that's bound to get a few things right.

When I think back to some of the great keepers we’ve had until recently, people like Albert Iremonger, Raddy Aramovich, Steve Cherry, Darren Ward, Kasper (of course), it’s a VERY important position but it’s been neglected of late, time to put that right now.

I hope it's true, Notts could do with stronger competition in goal.

It would seem like Notts need a new keeper, Fitzsimons doesn't seem to be able to rise to the challenge of being the number one. If Forest have any available, Notts should enquire.
