Notts v Grimsby ... Any positives.?

So we lost to Grimsby last night in the checkatrade trophy but could be say we took any positives from the game.?

i really cant say, i thought it was good that we lead for so long but the losing bit feels a bit disappointing.

I do feel hk will be okay and sort it out.

good start from notts by the sounds of it but then they self destruct and gave the game a way.

Oh come on fellas, it’s one game, I didn’t go but reading reports they suggest that the first half Notts were excellent, let’s not write Kewell or the season off just yet.

I listened on the radio and Notts were well on top and could have been out of reach by half time.OK it was in a tin pot competition and against a cobbled together Grimsby side but it sounded like a definite improvement on the other Notts games I've listened to this season.HK didn't have much preparation time before this match but he will have learned a lot from the two contrasting halves.There's no Rams game this weekend but I'm looking forward to listening to the Notts game and expect further improvement.

Leading the game is a big positive

The first half sounded very good

Harry Kewell identifying the fitness levels as a concern is a good thing

By now he must have noticed Ross Fitzsimons isn't ready to be the number 1

Useful to know guys, I was annoyed that Notts gave the lead a way. It would have felt easier knowing we had lost on pens!
