For me one of the matches of the day tomorrow will be Chesterfield v Mansfield.


 


Giving their current league positions and in view of the fact that it is always a fiercly fought local derby it should be cracking match. I used to work in Chesterfield and the Spireites hate Mansfield with a passion.


 


I will be routing for Mansfield as Nottinghamshire team and also because as a Notts fan I used to get quite a bit of stick from my Spireite colleagues when at work.


 


So for one day only COME ON YOU STAGS!

I've only became soft when it comes to Mansfield because of @Dan

Not that I think for a second the club actually deserves any support from me, though as someone I really like and admire, I always hope my friends teams do okay. It's painful when good friends support Forest - Though I have to admit I like Chesterfield and I have a few friends who support them. I'd probably go with a draw? I'm not a fan of their style of play, although both sides have had reputations for being dirty.

Didn't realise till the other day that this match was this weekend. The Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire police could be in for a buisy day with the Forest Derby game also being an early KO. I would imagine some Derbyshire police officers will travel with the Derby fans, and some Nottinghamshire with the Mansfield fans. Could be interesting!
