Appleton reported....declines Notts

Featured Replies

I'm not overly bothered about Michael Appleton, I don't rate him so much as a coach or as a manager.

I think there's better and I think his success with Oxford is a little clouded at times, as it wasn't the most amazing achievement a League Two team has done. There's certainly a shout for progress but they did pump a decent amount of money into the playing squad I believe. A lot by this standard....

A field where dreams become reality.

Would have loved it if Appleton got the job. Good to see we're being ambitious. Played good football at Oxford and showed you can play passing football at this level whilst being defensively solid. Shame that he has turned us down

One team who had the right players and was not in a relegation battle, I think someone more experienced would be better. If he was as good as some fans think, he wouldn't be unemployed right now.

I'm not bothered about Michael Appleton, he's done it all before in League Two but a part of me thinks he may question his own ability. I don't know why you would go to a job interview if the chances are slim of you taking the role on, obviously we don't know what was said or what Alan Hardy expects from the manager but the club is attractive enough. I can't see him doing much better.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
