So the new year hasn’t started great for Notts or us fans a 2-0 loss to Oldham leaves us bottom of league two at the start of the year. 

Notts today suffered a double blow today not only did we not win but with Cambridge being demolished 6-0 by promotion chasing  mk dons and Macclesfield being held to a 1-1 draw by Tranmere Notts miss the chance to close the gap from three points to one. With Yeovil loosing to Cheltenham 4-1 who sit in twenty first another chance lost.  

Could say at least it hasn’t got much worse @Magic magpie , another game gone mind may well turn out to be a missed chance , time will tell.

Yeah most definitely mate that’s a positive that we have to take from today would have been great to start the year with a win.

Need players desperately. Newport's escape from a few years ago is giving me the slightest of hope we can pull this off

It’s all about making January a success in player recruitment 

I am a bit disappointed that there seemed to be little fight, I think the away support deserves better and we need to acknowledge this support which hasn't decreased despite a lot of people expecting Notts to lose (which is natural).

Yet I remind myself there's no quick fix.

I just want to see more fight from the players.
