O’Brien insists county are not chucking it in.

Notts midfielder Jim O’Brien has spoken to the everning post and said that “Notts are not chucking it in” the magpies lie  bottom of  league two and three points adrift of safety with seven games still to play and fifteen points to play for. Notts have only collected 33 points out of a possible 117 points Jim spoke ahead of County’s cruical Away tie At Stevenage.

They haven't no, but they arnt doing muxh better... Moral is obviously low but we need better to survive this league

i like jim, i think he works hard and some fans dont seem to appreciate that. its time the players spoke on the pitch and not to the press.

This is one of the easiest things that can be said, after the last home game the players reactions spoke volumes. It's all in their hands.

When I read this at first  I just thought it was a normall interview that players give to appease the fans but after today they have let there action speak for them selfs.

Jim impressed me, very controlled and passionate performance by him. He never stopped communicating throughout the game.

Why has Jim O'Brien came under fire from some fans in recent weeks?

He has had a couple of poorer performances but nothing like of the players who was here before he arrived. I like him, he works hard and communicates well. Notts needs more players like this.
