Could the loss to Exeter be our downfall.?

So last night we needed a favour from Exeter as they faced fellow relegation fighters Macclesfield but unfortunately it turned out to be a night that Macclesfield may just look back at and smile come the end of the season .

While It’s ironic that Exeter were the team that beat us 1-0 at meadow lane a few weeks ago. I just hope that the Exeter game is not the game that proves to be our down fall and that we do get a chance to  turn things around 8E08C4E0-48C4-42A2-8818-63E945E53857.png

Macclesfield sit just two places and two points above the drop zone with Notts rooted to the bottom of league two.

i think the issue is the games where we should have won but failed to keep the lead, the exeter game should not have been such an issue. most fans will look back at northampton and the two ones after mansfield.

Games where we should have won but didn't will cost us

Stevenage (H)

Swindon (H)

Port Vale (A)

Morecambe (A)

Carlisle (H)

Bury (H)

Colchester (A)

All games we should have won

I don't think so, Macclesfield are doing much better under Sol Campbell. I just hope they run out of money and he goes A.W.O.L on them. 🤣

If we're trying to nail our (possible) downfall on one match, there are too many to mention. Personally, I think our lamentable failure to perform against the teams around us could cost us very dear, not least the gifting of six points to Yeovil.

Anything could right now, but i hope not.

I think it was today, failing to beat Crewe and then we could say the failed appointment of Harry Kewell.

Too many underlining mistakes this season.

The loss of most of the season is our downfall, more than just one game.
