Emergency loan in Alex Palmer has trained with the squad as he prepares to play in goal for us Away in Crewe tomorrow before returning to West Brom on Monday after Fitzsimons has withdrawn from the game on Dr’s Advice.

god alex is massive tho.

I hope he's ready to make a good, big impression. I am nervous about an unknown taking start between the sticks.

He seems okay, but Mark Crossley doesn't really say much glowing does he? Being tall etc is hardly something I would say about Jake to impress people.

I hope he can save goals for us at the rest of the games hes involved in.

Didn't play great but most goals where deflected

He needs time but I think questions should be asked to why Ross Fitzsimons has suddenly became unwell after being given his chance.

the only goalkeeper capable to actually play this season is Ryan, but an emergency is an emergency, he may need time but as that type of signing.. he should be more ready to play with any team.
