What a melt! 😂😂😂

If Liverpool want it so badly, why don't they just steal it off Manchester City? 😂😂

No team has ever got a 2nd place prize, NO! so sorry no you wont.

Its like schools giving out participation certificates to every child, some think that they are always entitled to something then.

I know finishing on 97 points and not winning the league is really harsh, but if someone finishes above you you're not the champions, simple as.

It reminds me of a story about Liverpool though. In the 1960s they won the title at their last home game, but the league refused to present them with the trophy for whatever reason. So a couple of Liverpool fans "borrowed" their mum's vase, painted it red and white, decorated it with newspaper cut-outs of the players and wrote to Bill Shankly. And lo and behold, that was the trophy the Liverpool players paraded on the pitch after the match! Can't find a decent photo of it, but it appears to be the trophy in the picture below. Maybe they could just use that again? :D

They're a strange club, you have to be the winner to get a trophy!

Next they will stand handing out medals to every player like what happens on sports day now. 😕

Absolute idiot! No wonder they thought the caller supported Everton.

I'd completely written them off in the Champions League ... maybe they'll end up with a real trophy after all :o

The caller wants them to finish second, he called back and said Liverpool deserves to win the Europa League. 🥴

I saw a friend on Twitter, tweet about this, it's baffling, but we know that certain clubs have many vein fans who feel they deserve stuff especially for free.

Liverpool doesn't deserve anything unless they win it!

Absolute state of that call, if a Notts fan did that I would hope fans would laugh them out of the club.
