the first thing i think that should have come out was clarification on weather or not neal ardley would remain as the manager of the club. this has not happened and it seems like some of the players, i.e jim o brien is questioning this themselves.

does this lead anyone else to think the new owners might be bringing someone else in?

im not suggesting ardley should be sacked, i just think his future being unclear leads to speculation and i do feel the new owners might want to speak to him before deciding what happens.

I’m hoping they do @liampie his decision to not change tactics and then to play defensive football and other attic errors last season was enough for me to hope we appoint a new manager and start from scratch with no emotional ties in the squad. If that’s the case we are letting him go I hope the owners do in a respectful way. In fact If after a chat with the new owners he decided that his tactics last  season wasn’t correct would be open to different approaches and tactics I would be happy to at Least give him pre season.

I think they’ll review his future but I highly think sacking Neal Ardley would be unlikely. Did he sign a two year deal before joining Notts?

@liampie I think you’re right, it sounds like his future is in the balance and he might not stick around despite saying he will. I hope he does stay.

If the club are thinking of appointing their own manager, I think it would be a rash decision and something which may halted any progress.

It’s most likely a lack of information on the clubs part, whilst everything seems up in arms - I do think Neal Ardley won’t be under any type of review. The consortium begins the takeover needs someone who is aware of the issues.

It depends on the plans of the new owners and if the takeover completes. I can’t see anything major changing unless the SA consortium have someone inline.
