Nathan Tyson becomes summer signing number 6

I like the comments he made too - during his last spell he was "half a footballer" and was ready to hang up his boots - now things are different and he's got unfinished business. He sounds motivated and will hopefully be a leader in the dressing room.

He's going to be a fan favourite I can tell, his warmth and experience should really be a hit within the dressing room.

If anyone questions his ability, I feel he's going to be similar to Alan Smith was in the dressing room yet be more useful on the pitch. He's clearly kept himself in shape and has thrived in our pre-season. Neal Ardley must keep his confidence levels up, that's when he's a threat.

A field where dreams become reality.

@DangerousSausage i agree, i think he will want to finish his career on a high and if he helped notts regain their league status he would have certainly done that. i am pleased we have signed him, i think hes a good player.

only concern in the back of my mind is how injury prone he can be.

Tyson had a very good game for me he he put the effort and energy in to the game. But unfortunately he didn’t score be did become frustrated but that for me is a sign of a players commitment to the squad and cause.
