Kelly-Evans as the regular left-back?

Dion Kelly-Evans has been superb this season, he's taken the chance to start regularly playing in an unnatural position. What are you thoughts on him potentially being replaced? If Chickensen isn't fit or good enough, then I am perfectly happy with seeing a replacement personally but otherwise I would rather see another winger arrive or central midfielder.

This is a superb article on Kelly-Evans.

if it makes us more competitive i am not against it.

i do feel chickensen looks like a player that is destined to leave, maybe he needs more time. i dont know if hes struggling with fitness or something else but he has not really settled down. if he leaves then it would not be a major loss but replacing dke just for the sake of it would come as a bit of a hit to him.

Dion Kelly-Evans works as a left or right back, he's done well and has been largely consistent this season. I think he's good enough to start in the left-back position but I do feel we could benefit from more strength. I am sure DKE is more focused on himself, than worrying about losing his place in the team if Neal Ardley is to sign another left-back.

I really like Kelly-Evans, nothing to complain about on the defensive side of things but I think not having a naturally left-footed LB is hindering us moreΒ attack wise – especially the way we play (*want to play).

Left backs are pretty much all left-footed for a reason, it’s just so much easier for a natural left-footer!Β Easier run with the ball downΒ the line, easier to pass the ball down the line, easier to cross the ball, the list goes on...

We haven’t seen a lot of Chicksen, but ArdleyΒ has and if a right back is continually picked a head of him there’s not much point in him being here…

I don't think DKE is a weakness in the Notts side, but I think he should be played on the right wing or right back.

He does well enough at left-back but someone who can put in more crosses would be a bessing.

It depends on if it's something he can work on.
