Moniz upset at erratic Notts form despite calm demeanour
Hopefully the consistency will start to settle and the away form improves, if it doesn't pick up in the next few days - fans will quite rightly become more and more vocal. Only the board will just how much time remains on Moniz side, yet I am prepared to back him. Lets hope he starts to turn it around and speak up (like he was at the start of the season).

Mike Edwards to have testimonial year in 2016
I heard about this from @Drivingmenotts earlier. It's something I feel is well deserved and I am pleased that he should end his career here, yet with the way he's going - we may sign an extension to his current deal but not as a defender! Good to see a committee rallying around to get 'Steady Eddie' a farewell game. This should prove to be popular and I hope fans support it well.

Shaun Derry's Cambridge United get the better of Notts
Without seeing the highlights it's hard to call if he was interfering, yet the outcome won't change no matter who is wrong or right. @Piety - It looks by the rules you provide, the referee made the right call.

Calls for belief and calm are justified at this stage of the season
If we can get our form away from home sorted, it would change things - even if some of the games we picked up draws (rather than loses). I understand the calls for Moniz to go and the out cry. Yet I am concerned that we may not be giving him the time he requires but I do admit, results work against giving him time. Good read Tom, thanks.

Shaun Derry's Cambridge United get the better of Notts
Typical really, Derry shines and Maddog wallows in defeat. We suddenly fall back to earth but the transition is still something I am mindful of. Not sure the referee made the right call but we need to be better.

Stat Attack: Cambridge United vs. Notts County
It will be interesting to hear how Derry is received and how our ex manager responds, I suspect it will be mutually respected. I just hope his disappointment of being sacked, is the reason Cambridge play in similar fashion to Salford City. Within time I believe Derry will be a good manager. Let's get the result Notts and push on from here, unity is the answer and confidence building is something we require ourselves. COYP!

Steady Eddy bags brace as Notts beat Barnet
Yes, pacey player whom was heavily linked with us - rumour has it he snubbed wages but you can never believe everything you read.

Steady Eddy bags brace as Notts beat Barnet
It was a very good result and pleasing to see Notts do so well, especially so early.

Notts County humiliated at Salford City
I think it was Jermaine Jenas who spoke about us not being able to string two passes, yet it was frustrating to watch and I questioned when would Notts respond? Yet for me, this is what the cups all about and I won't allow any negativity to spread within myself. That said, I understand concerns and others feelings - I really do. Just for me, there's no sweet moment knocking our a Non League team - whereas there is for Salford CIty and I feel we must praise them. They played well, we didn't turn up and we just looked out of our depth. Don't allow these types of performances back into the league, if we can manage this - we should be okay. Chalk it off and give our opposition the credit they deserve!

Jon Stead vents frustration at deeper role for Notts County
Keep your chin and head up Jon, sometimes tactics means changes have be made but Moniz must realise we look better with two up top. We have two strikers who can score in league games and another in the reserves. I hope our manager is listening, really I want to see better communication and progression - The signs on the pitch concern me with players scrobbling, we had this last season.

Nicky Wroe leaves Notts County to join FC Halifax Town on loan
I'm pleased in a sense, I explained why within the community but I wish him well. When we signed him, I felt he would be a big signing for us but sadly this hasn't been the case. Yet, I wish him well from here on with his career. If he comes back and eventually features, so be it but right now we don't really need him.

Where does Moniz get the consistency required?
So far this season, we haven’t yet witnessed a settled Notts County but we have been entertained by a couple of outstanding performances. With the arrival of Izale McLeod, Notts do look much stronger up front and the loan arrival of Alan Sheehan does provide the back with much needed cover. At the recent home game against York City, I mentioned to a friend about how comfortable we looked without so many of our foreign legion players. I’m not trying to suggest that they’re to blame for the inconsistency, this seems only natural with the amount of arrivals we have seen during this summer but what it does make me think, is some are not ready for League Two football. With the exception of a few, I think the majority have settled well and contributed nicely already. Yet, on appearance it does seem that a couple need more time to settle to the hustle and bustle of this league. For me, one stand out signing from our foreign legion (which is how the majority refer to them) is Gill Swerts. It was interesting to see him in pre-season looking already settled, as he mingled with fans after coming off at games like Carlton. Yet each time I have seen him, he seems steady and reliable. He did extremely well in my opinion in our game at Meadow Lane against Luton Town. With several players on the verge of returning, it leaves questions as to which players will nail down their positions but for me, I would give Gill Swerts his starting position back. This said, with Elliot Hewitt coming in and doing well – Would it be fair on him after the performances against Crawley Town and York City? This weighs up some of the dilemmas Ricardo Moniz has with his now current 41 man squad. It also begs the question about players like Wes Atkinson, Colby Bishop, Rhys Sharpe, William Hayhurst and Scott Bennett. Will we see any of these feature? Also – is Taylor McKenzie still injured? This would see that Kyle Da Silva, Ronan Murray, Robert Milsom would be fighting for a place once they return from their injuries. There is so much, which can unsettle a squad, which can lead to inconsistency and Moniz in my opinion really needs to balance his selection decisions. He’s doing well to make players fight for their places, yet I am unsure if some of the players like Gill Swerts deserve to be benched. I ask you, what do you think? Does Gill Swerts deserve a place within the starting 11? Does anyone else deserve to be starting more regularly? Have your say below.

Notts pegged back for a share of the spoils at Dagenham & Redbridge
We should be mindful of McLeod's confidence, though even I am disappointed. The bright side is we didn't lose! Yet we should have came back with 3 points. Onwards & Upwards! COYP

COLIN SLATER: The long road ahead for travelling Notts fans
It's a fair point, I haven't been able to make many away trips due to health matters - I don't really want to go places I am unfamiliar with. It's not an excuse because I used to make the long journeys very regularly. This is a discussion point within another area, one which I have to wait to hear back before I can proceed. Thank you Colin for writing another article for us, this is brilliant.

Notts come from behind to crush Crawley
Thank god for "Steady Eddie", I don't want to come across as a 'I told you so' person but I felt he deserved his place in the squad and I was right behind him. I think his goal gave us a lift, as it sounded like came from nowhere, with very few chances prior. Then steps up another man who's had negative shadows. LIam Noble! Very good win for Notts and I felt like we may be doomed after going 1-0 down, the lads did well. I very much hope we can turn Meadow Lane into the place whereby we pick up the points. It will make travelling a lot easier!

Notts throw it all away at Wimbledon
I just had that horrible feeling once Wimbledon scored this would happen, I didn't want it to and it's disappointing after how we started. We need to be stronger, end off. Notts need to stop making mistakes

Three reasons to be cheerful at Notts County
I wasn't convinced by the fee for McLeod but I think he'll prove me wrong after seeing him score twice against Luton. The shot he had very early on, I turned to Cobby and said 'He looks and shoots like a striker' (then something about actually being on target). I'm still optimistic but hoping the roller-coaster slows down.

McLeod brace and Noble free kick clinch win for Notts against Luton
It was very awkward watching them getting into the game, after they scored their first - I did feel like they may go onto win themselves. We just sat back and looked very uneasy! Yet credit to Noble for snatching the points. I do feel on a whole we deserve the points but fair play to Luton.

Notts take Villa all the way with valiant display
Hopefully a performance which will lead to consistency and a Stead squad in League Two. I'm ever so proud of Notts! Let's push on now.
