Notts County earn valuable point in goalless draw against Wycombe Wanderers
Well Notts bravely fought for the point and Cooper's right, we should have won but that's not a negative for me. The players gave 100%, it may have been slow building but we don't expect things to happen instantly. I think it's a performance which we can build and grow on. COYP!

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Chairboys (H)
I'm pleased by the response from the players, we all knew the fans will get behind them and the club - it was just the fallout of disappointment etc. I felt very proud today, which is the opposite to how I felt going or even before the match. I still have the feeling of we can't score, so will we defend? but honestly, they did a good job today and although a couple of players I felt played a little below average it was a good team performance. It's not going to help confidence to mention anything more but it was the first game, which I felt we could actually get something. Murray made the difference, he played his heart out. McLeod did alright, he needs a boost of confidence. Thompson and Aborah for me, they did a good job today. However, all the players deserve credit. COYP

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Chairboys (H)
Lively start by Notts but we need to keep it down, early corner so there's pressure and at the moment we are keeping 'em quiet. Hopefully the fans can keep singing, very impressive response by the loyal kop.

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Chairboys (H)
I would have preferred if the game had of been called off, two reasons but one it would allow Mark Cooper more time to work with his squad. Last night sounded very bad, my French doors actually sounded like someone was knocking very loudly and frequently. I honestly thought by now that the game would have been called off, credit to the ground staff who must be working hard to make the pitch to the level it doesn't require an inspection. Fingers crossed this isn't the only 'luck' we have today. COYP!

Mark Cooper tells Notts County players: 'Your careers are on the line'
Likely likely. The defending has been woeful, it looked better when JF first came in but completely disappeared not long after. The players should be playing for their right to be selected for Notts. Including their future to remain here, I hope MC can get the best out of 'em.
-
Liam Noble: 'Notts County can't defend'
Liam's had plenty of time to say this already, which for me sort of times the meaning a way. I would have preferred to see him say he'll work hard and lead the midfield, which is something we are desperate for. I would love to see the fire in his play return, when we used to look of it - he looked like one of few who wanted to change it.

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Chairboys (H)
@medievalmickey MC did at Swindon right? At least I think he was known for giving youngsters a chance, as I recall some comments back when you first started getting Spurs youngsters on loan - 'Ours have done well enough' (along those lines). It would be good to get the first home win for a long time but I'm concerned that the rot has set in and it may take Cooper longer than I thought to correct things. We can't loan anyone now though right?

Match Discussion: Game 38 - Pompey (A)
We all know Cooper will require time, I am sure he will be able to get but hopefully even he isn't left isolated without an assistant manager. The score line shocked me but it didn't bother me or remotely anger me. As I noticed 'Nothing has changed' and comments which I really cannot repeat flashed across my phones notification screen - I really had to wonder what was going off. I have no idea how Notts played, I have been informed it wasn't very good but I won't pass judgement. MC will adjust accordingly, I'm sure of it. The players do have to try and put aside their feelings, I really do believe there's a core issue which stems from 'confidence' (among other things).
-
Joe Jones: 'Dropping Stanley Aborah was PR suicide for Jamie Fullarton'
Haha! 'fans'. I think we should add 'and manager' because Cooper's spoke quite highly about him - including the in which he trains hard. The JF v Aborah thing should have been avoided, any manager would have but soft balls, chances to play him and selecting him for the bench when it's claimed 'he refused to play' would hardly work in your favour (JF not you NNF).

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Chairboys (H)
Positive as always @ivansneck, one of these days you'll be right. It's forecast every rain on Monday, I'm not sure if I can make it but otherwise I'll be there if the plans don't interfere with it. I can't say I'm as optimistic about this game myself, Wycombe should have enough to beat us but we did give them a game away from home so who knows? Certainly I think it will be a game whereby building blocks will be put into place by Cooper. Prediction wise, I'm unsure at the moment. COYP!

Mark Cooper: 'Stanley Aborah will play for Notts County against Portsmouth'
With the news of Fullarton, then Cooper and now Aborah - it's very promising, whereas little was under JF. You can try to be optimistic but it won't happen without cause.

Stat Attack: Portsmouth vs. Notts County, 25 March 2016

Match Discussion: Game 38 - Pompey (A)
I'm actually quite optimistic, under Fullarton - do to his inexperience, I never felt confident about getting good results (never mind performances) but away from home was always slightly different because you never know. Now we have Mark Cooper, I do believe we will be more organized. That gives me hopes going into the game against Portsmouth, however I don't think we should 'fear' any side other than ourselves because it's us holding back. Really I see this game being a draw, so 1-1 could very well be a fair reflection of the final scoreline.

Mark Cooper promises clean slate and entertaining football at Notts County
He came over very well, I like the fact he took time to reflect on certain things and include the history/value that the club has. It's got that 'feel' good factor - I hope he enjoys managing us because we are desperate to find someone who understand how the fans want the club to play. Get the gates back up and hopefully that 'stability' he mentions comes.

Half Time Report: All square between Notts County, Exeter City as Izale McLeod breaks Magpies scoring duck
Honestly, decide us holding onto the ball - Exeter attacked with proper purpose and I honestly feel they deserved the win. If only the Notts players came out with a different attitude in the second half!

Notts County confirm appointment of Mark Cooper as manager
I'm pleased by this, if it takes him awhile to get the players playing how he envisions so be it. I hope he brings back the togetherness from the club and the fans, as of lately it's been something which has been missing in opinion.

Meet the Fans 15/16 - Exeter City
Jamie Fullartonβs reign as the first team manager of Notts County came to an end, as the magpies' saw another home defeat to the hands of Exeter City. The final score 4-1, which saw fans take to protesting after the game. Pride of Nottingham took the time to speak with four fans regarding concerns expressed in recent weeks by the supporter base. Firstly their thoughts on the decision by Ray Trew to sell the club, along with talk of 'administration' and relegation looming over some fans minds. Have a watch of our future and see what was said prior to the game against Exeter City. Don't forget to subscribe to PrideofNottinghamTV | Also, please share, like and comment on the video. Alan Smith: 'Notts County players let Jamie Fullarton down'
To a degree much let Jamie Fullarton down, I am sure the majority of fans will think the same but ultimately it ends with him and the players. I think Alan Smith is correct, the players did a terrible job of supporting a newly named manager. Their support could have helped ease supporters, but then we can mention ourselves. It was just an impossible appointment, one surely known wouldn't work and despite all the praising 'next Jimmy Sirrel' and comparisons to other managers. Jamie Fullarton never really found his own way, the combination of stubbornness and 'it's my way' was always going to resort to this. After the Aborah situation, his position became very tangible and really until one or the other was gone - nothing was ever likely to change. I'm just glad Aborah hasn't been pushed out the 'revolving door' as it allows him a clean slate.

Jamie Fullarton 'locked dressing room door and shouted at Notts players following Exeter loss'
Odd, quite a few players spoke kindly of him and said to blame them to the very much smaller remaining protesters. Not quite sure about this, I think the protest/small gather had more barring.
