Should Notts consider having a new Club Captain?
Iβve got a feeling, even though most people donβt agree, that Matt Palmer will stay as captain. He has my full backing, but if someone else takes the role, Iβll support them too. Jacob Bedeau looks like the clear next option to me.

Hearts v Dunfermline
I havenβt thought too much about it, but some clubs make odd choices. Chesterfield last season gave us a small number of tickets, even though they had lots of seats spare and still said it was a sell-out.

New shirt
I really wish theyβd release the home shirt first instead of the away. I donβt understand why Puma is always late with it. If they can sort the away one, surely the home shirt should come first.

Update Your Status: Encouraging Members to Share Moments on PON
This seems like a good idea. If it catches on and people start sharing different things, it might get them talking about topics they wouldnβt normally mention.

Club World Cup
I hope those three goals are enough for Chelsea to secure the win. It would be good to see them come out on top. Any chance to get one over PSG is always welcome. Thereβs a bit of extra satisfaction in that.

Notts County secure Manchester United defender Sonny Aljofree on season-long loan
Cracking signing this, exactly the type of player we needed at the back!

New signing Sonny Aljofree I assume
Either him or Matty Platt joining would likely cause a lot of upset, especially since we've let Alex Bass go. That decision alone has put fans on edge, so adding someone seen as a step down might stir things even more. I didnβt expect Sonny to be welcomed so warmly. I thought people on social media might kick up a fuss again, saying things like βheβs just a loanβ or βheβs too youngβ. But it seems like heβs made a decent first impression.

Football Regulator
@Joshua, Itβs a helpful push towards better control. Putting limits on how much clubs can spend means someoneβs watching what they do, which makes it harder for mistakes or dodgy choices to be swept under the rug. Club owners and their media teams wonβt be able to dismiss things quite so easily. With clear rules, itβll be plain to see when spending gets out of hand or corners are being cut.

Weekly Chat - Monday 7th to Sunday 13th July
Played sports for two hours earlier, which was fun, but it was way too hot for lessons. The best bit about being out on the field was feeling the breeze and having cold water to keep cool. When I got home, I didnβt bother turning on my computer. Just wanted to relax and not think too much. So Iβve been chilling with summer tunes in my ears, feet up on the table, and sitting back in my chair without a care in the world.

Didzy joins Barnsley
I think Didzy leaving mightβve helped calm the bad mood that came with the news he wasnβt signing again. Thatβs probably why I feel most let down about it. Barnsley doesnβt seem like the place Iβd pick to hang up my boots if I were his age. Youβd think heβd go somewhere sunnier, or at least somewhere with better tea.

New signing Sonny Aljofree I assume
Itβs a good signing, no doubt. Still, I do wonder if weβre spending more on loan players than we usually would. Weβve got, what, three of them now? Iβm not too worried, but it would be nice to buy a proper keeper. Someone we can count on long-term. Itβd also be great to get an attacking midfielder in. Someone who can create chances and score goals. There must be clubs out there with the kind of player weβre looking for. We just have to go and find them.

Top effort by the travelling fans. Makes you proud to see that backing in Germany.

Football Regulator
Football needs change. A regulator thatβs truly separate from clubs and the league could make a real difference. If they get it right, itβll be a big step forward.

Jatta Ain't Going To Germany
Jattaβs a pro. Training with the B team will keep him sharp, and once the suspension is done, heβll be back and causing problems for defenders. League Two wonβt know whatβs hit it. Weβve just got to stay positive.

The Grant Paradox
Conor Grantβs got something about him. He can find the net and will improve with more minutes. Iβd rather see him given the chance over someone winding down their career. He just needs a settled role and only shift positions if weβre short.

RIP Diogo Jota
I heard some teachers talking about it too, and like you, my first thought was the same. Itβs really upsetting. Sadly, you do come across false stories now and again, so itβs important to stay careful. As soon as I saw it confirmed on the BBC Sport site, I had to pause for a moment. Itβs such a sad situation.

Can Our New Head Coach Get Notts Promoted?
@DangerousSausage, I didnβt think there was any truth in it, but some people are saying and guessing that it might be. Thereβs always someone making up excuses or spreading nonsense.
