  1. Team should be chomping at the bit to get out and play, hopefully use the frustration to good effect and not self implode. IB will need to manage this game well
  2. Could and should be 3 points towards our goal of promotion. We have slipped up in these types of games, where we are expected to win, before. I never speculate on team selection as I can do nothing to input upon it, thats down to the coaching staff, but recently they seem to be making a decent job of it....with the odd blip
  3. RIP Colin, will always be held in high regard by Notts fans
  4. First half abysmal, second half much better, comfortable win in the end.
  5. Could have been a very different game but I'll settle for the one we had:)
  6. As I am now an old man I will be in in bed for 10 30. Happy New year all.
  7. There is a lot worse but still worrying, nobody in their right mind will keep ploughing in money to watch it disappear. Football nowadays is a plaything for large organisations, probably fiddling somewhere along the line, if the game doesn't get real regarding wages etc lots of clubs will disappear, leaving the bigger clubs with what they are actually after....closed shop control.
  8. Exactly how we should be finishing against these teams, though we took our time to get there, but every Notts fan will be happy with that. A step in the direction we need to go, well done.
  9. I really hope your right, personally I think we will be in the play offs due to inconsistency. We just don't have the killer instinct to finish teams off when we are on top. I will be delighted to be proven wrong
  10. Good result, I would prefer to be a bit less nervous towards the end of games, a couple of extra goals in front with 5 minutes to go would be good, players please take note...thanks
  11. Suppose that could be classed as a good point with their position in the league, but I'm disappointed with that.
  12. Disappointing result, not the end of the world stuff but, probably shows we are play offs at best
  13. Not too fussed about going out, though would have been a great opportunity for some extra revenue, back to what matters this season.
  14. We will need to match their enthusiasm, if we can do that the quality should shine through, which hasn't always been the case. They will be well organised and a point would be good for them. Game we should be winning, my guess an optimistic 3 0
  15. Brings some extra revenue, with the potential for more which is good for the club
  16. Would obviously like to be higher, but considering the way we have defended on occasions thankful to be where we are. Still think improvements are necessary, but do think we will get better. If we finish in a play off spot so be it, end of season lottery it is, though we are certainly capable of automatic promotion.
  17. To be honest with Notts defending I would be amazed at 0 0. I just hope we score more than they do.
  18. Not really fussed with the fa Cup, though always nice to win, but this game is huge
  19. Some good points here, personally I think international football has lost its appeal, certainly for me anyway, too many multi millionaires who don't really care just want the prestige. Of course that's just an opinion.
