  1. If you’re planning to visit The Nest for one of these premium events, don’t forget to bring a collapsible umbrella. Be prepared to open it at a moment’s notice, especially when a goal seems imminent. But if you’re attending an England game, there’s no need to worry. The chances of needing an umbrella are quite low. Of course, I’m only jesting. After all, who wants to resemble Steve McLaren watching an England match?
  2. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @Bertinez. ????
  3. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @i961pie. ????
  4. Oh, give over! I might have mentioned once or twice that I wouldn’t mind him returning. I might have commented on his good performances or goals for Hartlepool. I might have even used his picture as my display picture and on Twitter. But that doesn’t mean I’m not chuffed. I’m glad he’s found a club, and I hope he does well for them.
  5. The home shirt seems nice to me, and I’m quite pleased with the design. The club has demonstrated some creativity with this concept, which might not be fully appreciated. However, when we eventually return to a more traditional look, it will feel fresh. I commend the club for trying something different once again.
  6. Hello, @BiggestPieInGlasgow. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. You'll see we ayre a friendly bunch, if you have any questions or anything, don't be put off from asking a team member. We'll be happy to advise or assist.
  7. Five years show how much better the club is because, under different regimes, Connell Rawlinson would have left sooner. Not because he didn't do well; I think he was solid in his first season and did well in his second. The club would have just moved on from the plan, signed a different player, and never allowed more than a handful to settle. Rawlo is a great guy, and I’m very thankful we had him and gave him last season. I hope he finds a club that will respect him and get the best out of what he offers.
  8. They are flourishing as a footballing nation, playing very well and showing no fear. Their current world ranking counts for nothing, as it will be higher thanks to this competition. They deserve credit for the way they played, just as much as England does for turning it around when it seemed all over. We can hope for a better performance against Switzerland.
  9. Today showed we have better in-form players who deserve to be there ahead of Jack Grealish. Personally, I think his partying spirit has affected his game, not Manchester City. He should be making a big impact but is now failing to even make their team.
  10. Should Connell Rawlinson peruse the messages sent his way, we hope he realises the depth of our gratitude as supporters. Any negative comments are overshadowed by the expressions of thanks for his contributions as a Notts player. He was a defender who consistently put in a strong effort. His dedication will be the lasting memory we hold of him.
  11. Connell Rawlinson has had a commendable stint with Notts, stepping up when we needed someone to fight for the team. He’s shown bravery, often putting himself at risk. It’s unfortunate to see him go, but the timing seems right. I hope he finds a new club that suits him well.
  12. β€˜Bang-a-bonk’ is a term I will not come across again in my lifetime. The β€˜bang’ portion does lend it a somewhat cheeky connotation, doesn’t it?
  13. I sincerely hope that Notts doesn’t impose high prices on our loyal supporters. It would be beneficial to keep things accessible and gradually ensure that Notts owns all the food stalls. However, these stalls should be operated by independent individuals. This approach could generate more revenue, rather than just taking a percentage of the earnings for the space occupied. It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved.
  14. Oh my, things are heating up now! Forget about Usyk vs Tyson. It’s Fan of Big Tone taking on Super Ram. Come on, Super! Don’t let this slide. ????
  15. Notts is in a strong position. They have the power to either accept or reject any bids. Until there’s an official announcement to the contrary, Macaulay Langstaff remains a valued member of our team!
  16. @Fan of Big Tone Hey, let’s not be too hard on Super! He’s an honorary Notts fan. Besides, when we’re feeling low, he can always lift our spirits with updates on how his beloved Derby is performing. ????????????
  17. I would be astonished if folks from Wrexham genuinely had an interest in Dolly Parton. I barely recognise her myself. I’m aware she’s a country singer, but her current relevance seems rather minimal. Unless Wrexham boasts a large number of fans who are, let’s say, seasoned gentlemen, I doubt they would be particularly concerned.
  18. I believe the image was shared as a reel on Will Evans’ Instagram account. I can’t confirm it, but there’s a chance we might be getting teased by him. You know, it’s like people adding 2 + 2 and coming up with 5. Presumably, as I mentioned in my comment above.
  19. Excellent updates, Boss! I’m confident that any alterations will prove beneficial and I’m eager to witness the growth of the site. Ideally, we could benefit from an additional one or two moderators and hopefully, individuals will step up for these roles. We have some fantastic members in our community who might be able to assist.
  20. Yes, it appears much improved! The website is pleasant but enhancements to the navigation would be appreciated. It functions well on mobile, however, on desktop and tablet, the menu seems to cut out. It’s delightful to see us operating on a stunning OS.
  21. ????????????????????????
  22. Curtis Edwards seems to be a promising addition to the team. His thoughtful responses to the Notts County media team’s questions suggest that he is focused and determined. We need players who bring something unique to the table, and I am hopeful that he will work hard for us on the pitch.
  23. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to have a team filled with players like Matt Palmer? It’s great to see him back, focusing on his fitness and working towards rejoining the starting line-up. He exudes quality, so I’m eager to see Palmer back in the squad on match days.
  24. I came across a piece of information, possibly on Twitter, that Curtis Edwards had a stint with Woking while he was between clubs and looking for a league team. It’s likely that Ian Burchnall recommended him to Michael Doyle, or perhaps Edwards consulted with Burchnall who then suggested Doyle. Regardless, it’s all come full circle now and he’s here with us. At first glance, he seems more like a coach or fitness trainer than a footballer, but I’m not one to judge. It was just an initial impression when I saw his photo. I’m confident he’ll prove to be a quality addition.
  25. With those odds, I’m actually considering putting down a tenner. Anything more seems a bit steep, but those are decent odds for those who are game. I’ve got a strong hunch that the squad and Stuart Maynard will hit the mark in the upcoming season.
