  1. Mistakes need to be set aside once they occur. After a moment of reflection, it just becomes another match. As a supporter, I back every player who represents Notts, and I believe Kyle Cameron is a prime example of leadership. He’s a skilled player who often faces criticism despite his significant contributions to Notts. I’m hopeful that he’ll score in the upcoming match against Stockport County.
  2. Rochdale are quite average these days, although it should be a good test for him. I hope they actually play him and don't become reliant on whoever they already have. I have every bit of faith that Tiernan Brooks can help them.
  3. The Prediction League could be anywhere really, with Notts fans taking part, but I do like the changes! They're practical and make the site look more balanced instead of being heavily focused on forums. We need to support the Women's forum and the sports one, as those are two good inclusions.
  4. It's a very sensible appointment and it's good to see that the club is recruiting managers who have built something under challenging circumstances. I'm fully behind Stuart Maynard, and I encourage others to support him too. Let's make him feel welcome and supported, regardless of how his reign starts or if we have a difficult period. I believe that out of the list of potential managers, Notts have hired someone on the up. It would be remarkable if he could achieve this with us and help establish us back at the higher end of the English football pyramid.
  5. I support Stuart Maynard, he's the one from the list of potential managers that stood out for me. I hope that he will feature more young players when the timing is right, because that would help us to establish our own talent. I'm delighted that we finally have the head coach role sorted in time for Saturday.
  6. Notts are much more secure and structured at the back, I anticipate it will be more of a stop-start game with some messy play. I fully expect Stockport County to try to intimidate us, that was their strategy at their ground and they executed it well in the first half. We need to be wary of those elbows and pushes to the ground, more than we have to worry about them being more direct. I hope we get some news about the new head coach, it seems likely that it will be announced at the match now. There’s something happening which has led to the media releasing the pre-match interviews quicker. I actually think we can narrowly win this game, being on home turf makes me much more confident that we can edge the game.
  7. I believe it will be Stuart Maynard, Neil Warnock’s connection just seemed odd to me. I would have thought he would have other clubs at a much higher level seeking his signature, and coming to our level could be a weak point for such an amazing career. Maynard has something to prove, I have high hopes it’s him because he stands out to me as the most serious candidate to complete what Luke Williams started.
  8. Bristol City 0-1 Watford Norwich City 2-2 West Bromwich Albion Exeter City 0-1 Cambridge United Stevenage 0-2 Barnsley Joker AFC Wimbledon 1-0 Crawley Town Barrow 1-3 Crewe Alexandra Eastleigh 0-2 Oldham Athletic Ebbsfleet United 0-1 Hartlepool United
  9. Positive move forward, I don’t believe our Women’s team are professionals as of now? Enhancements to the coaching staff and further progress in the future could shape the club’s destiny. I hope they continue to ascend the leagues.
  10. He’s only had notable appearances at Aldershot Town, besides playing 7 times for Crawley Town. It’s difficult to be enthusiastic about this signing as there’s little to base it on, and we’ve observed that loaned goalkeepers often don’t play much. I believe it’s more of a signing to provide cover until our next manager can fully utilise Sam Slocombe or Aidan Brooks. As a side note I generally don’t agree with clubs signing players when there’s no manager in place. That’s just my personal opinion.
  11. It would bring some quality teams to the UK, while providing lower-tier players with their β€˜European tour’. I believe it would benefit clubs, and players would gain experience playing against a different calibre and style of players. I only know about this from PON and what others have previously mentioned, but it seems like a fantastic idea.
  12. It doesn’t exactly seem like you’ve β€˜Let it go’, @DangerousSausage. I wager that every Friday night, you find a bar in Germany where you can sing all your favourite Disney tunes, with memories of your pantomime days at the forefront of your mind.
  13. Both parties are typically at fault. I suggest simply walking away and if you’ve made a mistake, just say sorry. I understand that some people won’t accept an apology without a confrontation, but that’s when walking away becomes crucial. I don’t want to squander my life dealing with such individuals.
  14. I don’t believe their second goal should have been a penalty. Tobi Adebayo-Rowling wasn’t the only one struggling to stay upright. To me, it seemed like Jayden Richardson had fallen, and even after watching the highlights, I’m not convinced there was any contact. The decision seemed harsh on Kyle Cameron.
  15. It’s confirmed, @DangerousSausage will be the villain in the PON pantomime. @super_ram and @Fan of Big Tone to be dames. Good job everyone, keep sharing your predictions!
  16. Nathan Tyson: 2014 and Notts 2019/20, Doncaster Rovers 2014/16. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_Tyson
  17. Delighted to have you with us! Your presence adds value to our community. Welcome aboard @StanfordPie!
  18. Welcome to our community @Robbie__64! We’re glad you’ve joined us. I hope you continue to enjoy PON. We do have quiet spells at times but there's plenty of members contributing throughout the day and week, I am delighted to see you joining in. It makes welcoming someone a lot more exciting.
  19. Firstly, thank you for all the nominations for me so far and any that may come in the future. We are a fantastic community and I hope everyone’s contributions continue to be enjoyable and engaging. NewPie: @Morten Johansen Member: @Piethagoram, @Fozzy, @menzinho, @allardyces tash Team: @TheSkipper, @Chris, @Joshua, @Burnz3r0 Also, I agree with what @Chris said but would also like to mention @Sir Magpie, @JustLikeJuve and many others who joined before and after the site had some issues.
  20. @Piethagoram, I didn’t and don’t have any issue with you joining in. Apologies for not responding sooner. I didn’t realise you had mentioned me and I’ve been away from the internet due to football yesterday and family matters.
  21. Despite the room for improvement in defence, Notts’ performance left me with a positive impression. They held their own for the majority of the game. It’s important to concentrate on the bright spots from the match. We controlled the ball well, and Stockport was successful in intercepting our attacks, which kept the excitement high. I trust the players are satisfied with their efforts. I’m hopeful that the club will delegate the responsibility of the players’ press conference this time. We can gather our strength and come back stronger on Boxing Day.
  22. I came away from the match feeling pleased with Notts’ performance. They played well for most of the game, even though there’s room for improvement in the defence. We must focus on the positives from the match. We had a good amount of possession, and Stockport managed to block everything, keeping me on tenterhooks. Hopefully, the players are content. I hope the club lets someone handle the players’ press conference this time. We can regroup and give it another shot on Boxing Day.
  23. A forward shouldn’t be scared of the other team, and Macaulay Langstaff’s eagerness shows he’s ready. I hope he can quieten the supporters calling for Luke Williams to be dismissed.
  24. It’s remarkable how much stronger we are with Macaulay Langstaff leading the attack. He tirelessly chases every ball. Having a striker who’s dedicated to defending when needed, but also has a knack for scoring, is impressive. He’s a dynamic striker with a well-rounded game. I’m glad he’s found his scoring form this season.
  25. I believe our players should have a break this Christmas, no matter their performance. The less stressed and more grateful they are, the harder they’ll work, in my view. We’re very fortunate to have Luke Williams. He sets high standards and lives by them. He’s the perfect person to lead us to League One, even if it takes some time.
