  8. It’s hard to fathom that the answer was mentioned in the immediate post after my query. Regrettably, my attempt to throw a curve ball resulted in me getting pie on my face. @Piethagoram correctly identified Jamie Fullarton. Points Table: @Fan of Big Tone - 5 @Fozzy - 5 @super_ram - 2 @KB1862 - 1 @liampie - 1 @Piethagoram - 1 Next round will be posted on Monday, between 5-6pm.
  9. Jodi Jones is a fantastic footballer. Having him at Meadow Lane is beneficial. Luke Williams will recognise that he has a player of high quality in his team. However, the real stars will be players like Jones, who has an impressive football career. It’s great that he’s been selected by Malta. This not only gives another player an opportunity but also boosts Jodi’s morale. Representing your country can certainly add a spring to your step in the game.
  10. Round 15: Clue: This individual hails from the land of kilts and bagpipes, and has graced the football fields of multiple nations. He’s worn the jerseys of clubs from the romantic city of Paris to the bustling streets of London. His career has been marked by a series of highs and lows, with victories on the field marred by injuries that threatened to end his journey prematurely. @super_ram, @Piethagoram, @liampie, @Fozzy, @KB1862, @Fan of Big Tone Everyone is welcome to take part, ask questions, etc!
  11. The concluding part is indeed poignant, when Adam discusses the loss of his father. It’s hard to fathom such an emotion, but it’s heartening to see him persevering and honouring his father’s memory. The 90s were a golden era for our supporters, a time before my own, but I am grateful to be witnessing a similar resurgence under Luke Williams. It appears that Adam made a wise decision all those years ago, and I wish him all the best. I hope his daughter finds as much joy in Notts as he did in his youth.
  12. @Fozzy Keep it that way, we can throw off that cheeky @Fan of Big Tone.
  13. @Fozzy Ding ding, you’ve got it right. Nathan Fox is indeed the correct answer. The following clue would have been: Making my Football League debut in a resounding 4-0 victory, I’ve journeyed through several clubs, including one named after a famous British monarch’s wife. One of my notable achievements was helping a team known as ‘The Linnets’ secure a prestigious title, thanks to my energetic runs and fantastic delivery into the danger area. Points Table: @Fan of Big Tone - 5 @Fozzy - 5 @super_ram - 2 @KB1862 - 1 @liampie - 1 Next round will be posted on Friday, I would say between 5:30-6pm.
  14. There isn't any recorded appearances on any statistical sites since 2021-22.I somehow merged a different comment with this, whilst using my phone. I can say for certain that he's still playing.
  15. I believe it’s crucial to remain positive and concentrate on the league. With the right approach and nurturing, the academy will flourish over time. If our youth players aren’t making the team, then we need to do more, and that should be our long-term focus. For now, let’s concentrate on our comeback.
  16. Mason Bennett, he was a real asset for Notts and it’s unfortunate that he sustained an injury so early into his loan spell with us. Now, Burton Albion has the opportunity to harness his talent. I wish them both the best of luck.
  17. Neil Warnock is an exceptional Football League manager. His retirement will undoubtedly cement his legendary status. It’s admirable that he chose to assist Huddersfield Town in their time of need.
  18. It’s uncertain whether he has had any appearances since the 2021-22 season. Ask away please, @Fan of Big Tone.
  19. Round 14 Clue: Born in Leicester, Leicestershire, on a day when the leaves were falling in 1992, I began my journey in football with a scholarship contract at a club renowned for its black and white stripes. @Fozzy @super_ram @Piethagoram @liampie please join in.
  20. Haydn Hollis is a player who comes to mind when considering links to both teams. Haydn’s dedication to Notts was commendable, and I believe he would thrive under the guidance of a manager like Luke Williams. It’s unfortunate that the fans turned their backs on him.
  21. I’m excited to be returning to Meadow Lane and I believe we’ll hold our own against Forest Green. I do hope they don’t force us to attack the KOP in the first half, as it seems like a tactic they might employ to throw us off. Regardless, I’m confident we’ll rise to the occasion and ensure the game is energetic. I hope we can maintain our vocal support even as the weather gets chillier. It truly makes a difference at matches, and I reckon the FGR fans will need to bring their A-game to make an impression. Jodi Jones could shift to the right, with Adam Chicksen stepping in on the left. If we keep the rest of the lineup unchanged and focus on feeding Macaulay Langstaff, we can seize our opportunities and give them a run for their money.
  22. The concept of garlic beer does sound rather off-putting, especially as I’m not particularly fond of beer or lager to begin with. The thought of how foul garlic beer might taste is quite daunting. It seems that many individuals of my age are increasingly opting not to drink. The idea of honey in beer did initially strike me as odd, but at least it adds a touch of sweetness.
  23. I’ll be initiating a new round at 6pm today @Fozzy @super_ram. Alternatively, it might be later @Fan of Big Tone - I look forward to seeing you all at the agreed time. I trust you’re prepared for the challenge ahead.
  24. It’s commendable that the Notts players are diligently improving their fitness and performance levels. This certainly gives them an edge when other teams begin to tire, allowing them to maintain their momentum. As the season progresses, this could prove crucial, with teams potentially losing focus and fitness. Dan Crowley is currently in exceptional form, and he deserves credit for his efforts.
  25. It’s gratifying to evaluate our squad and appreciate the team’s quality. It’s heartening to observe the abundance of talent within players who are on the cusp of breaking into the first team, all eager to make a contribution. The morale within Notts’ squad is not just impressive on an individual level, but as a collective unit. This is particularly evident following matches like the one against Salford.
