Key Dates in Notts County’s 2023-24 Season
I wish we had started the season at home, but I don’t dwell on the fixtures. I think the players will look at what we have been handed and feel happy to get the new season underway. There are no real negative points, just a few difficult journeys on certain dates, but hopefully we will get through them without a problem. Picking up points is the game; tough or difficult starts on paper aren’t something to worry too much about.

Dan Crowley: The Journey of an Individual Player - ‘I’m My Own Player'
Dan Crowley’s recent time at Morecambe demonstrated his capabilities as a player. He had a fantastic debut for them. Given Notts’ current upward trajectory, I have high expectations for him at the club. I believe he will continue to develop and thrive as a player.

Notts County signs former Arsenal academy graduate Dan Crowley on 2-year-deal
I agree that this is a great signing and that he should fit in perfectly within our team. It’s good to see that we are signing players who have a lot to give and who would be wanted by other clubs similar to us. He does seem to be a good signing for a side that wants to chase promotion.

Jim O’Brien reflects on his journey with Notts County
Jim O’Brien is a great addition to the squad. Having him around the younger players and the rest of the squad with his sense of humour and care helps bring in positive thinking.

Why Jim O’Brien’s Extended Stay at Notts County is Great News
It’s been said around PON by others, but Jim is a captain without the armband. He’s such a vital part of what makes this squad tick. I also agree with Allardyce’s tash. Some fans of football now will discard a loyal player just because they want someone new or exciting in the team. I can only think of one game where Jim wasn’t his usual self, so I think it’s extremely harsh. I would go as far as saying he would make my Notts XI of the last 10 years. He’s influential and such a good person. His ability is there and I agree with the thoughts expressed in the feature.

Jodi Jones on Representing Malta and Playing Against England
Jodi Jones’ free kick to set England back? We’re all wishing him well as he prepares to help Malta. It’s going to be a tough match, but I am invested in seeing how he does against some of England’s best players.

Notts County Fan Tony Poppa Bear Wood Shares His Story
These articles focusing on the fans are fabulous; this one and the one about Tony were brilliant. Tony would make a good member of PON if he came on board. Judging by his comments, he would fit in well.

Jim O’Brien praises Notts County’s new signings
It’s good to read about his self-confidence in his ability. I think he’s a superb footballer and his experience is very handy to have in our squad. I hope he thrives this upcoming season and proves to those doubters that he still has it.

David McGoldrick: "I've learned that money doesn't bring happiness"
I am impressed with David McGoldrick’s loyalty to the club. It is clear that he has joined us for the right reasons. Choosing happiness over money shows that he has a good character. Despite losing Ruben, it is an exciting time and I am pleased that he has joined us.

Notts County retains key player Jim O’Brien for another season
I am delighted that Jim has stuck with us and given the club one more year. He has the experience to help influence the players and he still has the ability.

Oxford United adds goal-scoring playmaker Rúben Rodrigues to squad
Oxford United isn’t the most exciting team for him to join. Will he make a big impact there? I think so, but they don’t have the quality to mount a serious Championship push in my eyes and I think he will need time to adapt to seeing better players playing against him.

Ruben Rodrigues bids farewell to Meadow Lane as exits Notts County
I wish Ruben all the best. I have some great memories of him playing for Notts and I stand behind my thoughts in the discussion.

David McGoldrick: "It's nice to be back at Notts County, it is my club"
He must work to earn his place on the team, but I believe he will succeed and hopefully score early on. This would boost his confidence. He speaks confidently and now that it has officially happened, we can begin assembling the rest of the squad. Despite stating in his interview with Notts that money isn't everything, I bet he will receive a decent wage.

Jodi Jones: A New Hope for Notts County
This is a good write-up. I think Notts work quite well with players with pre-existing injuries. Jodi Jones shows no fear of being taken out, which is a positive thing because I wouldn’t blame him considering his issues. I wouldn’t like to be clattered and experience issues again, yet it just goes to show how much he desires to be a good player for the club. We know what qualities Jodi has. We have a squad full of talent that teams should struggle to mark, but this for me will be the best signing come the end of the season if the last campaign is anything to go by.

Jodi Jones could face England after Malta call-up
Jodi has earned his place in the Malta squad with his performances for Notts. I’m sure he’ll continue to impress. He has been a model professional and a team player throughout the season. He has also displayed his intelligence and awareness on the pitch. He has improved immensely under our coaching staff and I’m proud of his progress. I believe he’ll be an asset for Malta as well.

Where are they now : Kwame Thomas
I’m sorry @super_ram, but he wasn’t very good. He didn’t deserve the second yellow/red card, but he didn’t do anything noteworthy. There are young players who may not have his talent but would work much harder.

The Icing on the Cake: Macaulay Langstaff’s Our Game Player of the Year Award
Langstaff is a legend, he’s been unstoppable this season. He’s scored some amazing goals and he’s been a joy to watch. He deserves all the awards he’s getting and more. He’s a true Magpie and I’m so proud of him.
-
Connell Rawlinson: "My heart will always be with Notts County"
So happy for Connell, he’s earned this new contract with his performances and his attitude. He’s been a solid defender for us and a great captain. He’s shown his love for the club and the fans and we love him back. He’s got the ambition and the ability to help take us to the next level.
-
Where are they now: Greg Tempest
I believed that the club would be better off without him and Hayden Hollis, as neither of them were good enough for where we were at that time.
