  1. The grace with which Crowley has adapted to his new team and managed to showcase consistent exemplary performances is truly laudable. Echoing his words, it’s clear that the team environment, camaraderie, and shared ambition for success have greatly contributed to this. He being able to single out his teammates for their extraordinary skills and how it eases his role on the pitch only amplifies the quality of companionship in Notts. It’s evident that the team possesses an ideal amalgamation of talent and persistent dedication, firmly setting them on the path to deliver their dreams. Crowley’s contentment with this journey only strengthens their collective ambition.
  2. The fanbase's presence certainly makes a significant difference in the team's performance. To have such a loyal following that remains undeterred even in away matches is a credit to the Notts community.
  3. The roaring passion on display by Notts in this match was simply brilliant. The flair, the grit, and the unity among the team were truly enduring. I think Kyle Cameron personified all these qualities, and what's more, he did it with humility and grace. His remarks post-match, crediting his fellow mates for their collective effort, and acknowledging the fans' support show his groundedness. It's actions and words like these that make fans feel they are a part of the triumph. Football is indeed a team sport and Cameron nailed it by emphasising this fact.
  4. Exciting match ahead! Fingers crossed for Notts County. I will be cheering them all the way.
  5. Nobody can overlook the impact Macaulay Langstaff has had on the team. His energy, relentless pursuit of the ball, and his prolific goalscoring have been a massive influence. It’s uplifting to hear him acknowledging the role that fans’ support plays in their performance. His reflections on team chemistry is a sign of a player who deeply understands the essence of football, teamwork.
  6. It’s interesting to know about their injury issues. I wonder if some of them are likely to return or if they are genuinely out for the game. Alexander speaks well of Notts, and likewise, Williams pays respect to them. MK Dons should be one of the better teams in League Two, so if we can get a good result or just protect our winning streak, I will be happy.
  7. It's clear that Langstaff is hitting his stride, his performance against Accrington Stanley is commendable. His warrior-like approach on the field, devotion to the team, and his flawless scoring ability are becoming his trademark, marking him as a player to watch. Williams' praise is rightly due; Langstaff is showing sheer strength and resolve on the pitch. It’s thrilling to witness such moments of brilliance.
  8. Accrington Stanley came looking for a point. They had no game plan and were just trying to deliver a tidy team performance, which they did. However, aside from their set piece which they scored from, they did little else to trouble us. The few chances they did get were either missed by their players or placed straight at Stone. It was an average performance, but a tidy one. As for Notts, they played with spirit and quality. None of our goals should have been disallowed. I also feel it was the Accrington keeper who positioned the second ball just in front of his goal and then decided to play with a different one, obviously some sort of tactic to try to disallow any further goals. The referee was poor, very poor.
  9. Great photos! The result yesterday was good, and those who appear in the Faces of PON will have a memory of the day here.
  10. Impressive performance by Notts County against Accrington Stanley. Crowley and Langstaff seem to be making a habit of starring in these games. With this win, our chances for back-to-back promotions look even more likely. Can't wait for the next game! Up the Magpies!
  11. The players did us proud today by hanging onto the win. It was unfortunate to see Cedwyn Scott go off and us concede. We played exceptionally well and completely deserved the win. The performances were very good too, and we could have scored a lot more. Hopefully, Luke Williams will hold back on making all the changes at once, as it could cost us, but I don’t hold it against him. I just feel it would be better to reserve at least one substitution for the dying moments of the game, unless we are comfortably winning.
  12. A well-deserved win! McGoldrick and Rawlinson did us proud. Looking forward to more victories!
  13. I think Notts will win 2-0. Macaulay Langstaff and David McGoldrick are the two players I would say are likely to score. Tranmere Rovers will most likely try to get their season back on track, Notts are quite overpowered in midfield and our system works well. Whilst I think that we should be fine in possession and on goal, I do think they will cause us concern. Despite the clean sheet, I think it will be due to Aidan Stone as to keeping them out.
  14. The photograph showcases an impressive squad; Tony Hateley would have undoubtedly been a delight to watch on the field. Although he predates my era, I am well aware of his remarkable skills.
  15. Well done to Langstaff for his performance. Great to hear he's not settling for less despite scoring twice. There's the fire in his belly we need for the upcoming games!
  16. It's not just that Macaulay Langstaff finally notched up his first Football League goals, it's the manner in which he did it that's truly impressive. His unshakeable confidence, even when the pressure was on - from both his own expectations and those of the fans - shows a maturity that resonates with every football lover. Not many can handle that kind of pressure and still deliver top-notch performance. The team, too, deserves commendation for their resilience and adaptability, especially in absorbing new tactics involving set pieces. Their triumph is a brilliant collaboration of individual talents and unity.
  17. he fans are indeed the heartbeat of any club, and this is evident in these pictures. The happiness on everyone's faces is palpable, reflecting the unifying power of football.
  18. Williams' analysis provides a refreshing insight into the team's performance. His commendation of Langstaff's contribution and the recognition of all the players' efforts reflect his understanding and astute leadership.
  19. Anticipating an effortless match is unlikely, but I am confident that Notts will capitalize on the situation and build on the progress from previous games. Things are progressing, though I came across some fans on Facebook claiming our style of play is dull. Seriously? I thought our main focus was on making strides forward. This being our inaugural season, I hope the team performs well against Doncaster Rovers to silence those critics.
  20. I trust that Luke Williams achieves a well-deserved outcome for his diligent efforts, which also encompass the squad's contributions. Considering our ascent from the National League, one might expect some fans to exercise patience and refrain from premature judgments in the early stages of the season.
  21. John is displaying his seasoned insight here; he possesses a deep understanding of the football landscape, as evidenced by these remarks. Ideally, we can secure a solid standing and silence certain misguided supporters.
  22. Work on the defence and effective utilisation of our wingers could turn the tables for County next time. This was genuinely insightful!
  23. Not a result we would have wished for after such sustained pressure but let's not ignore the strides we're making. The game management was applaudable and had moments of brilliance like Jones volley hitting the bar.
  24. Echoing the sentiments of the Notts County captain Kyle Cameron, I have my fingers crossed for this season. This year, the team looks stronger and more determined than ever. With the right mix of ambition, teamwork, and persistence in our approach, I believe we can certainly make it among the top three. Yes, the challenge is real, but with challenges come opportunities - opportunities to outperform, grow, and show the world our grit and prowess. Looking forward to the kick-off.
  25. I believe it would be sensible to wait until at least 10 games have been played before reflecting on the difficulty of the league. However, I don’t disagree with Kyle Cameron and would actively encourage his ambitions, as these are qualities that drive a club forward. It may be challenging in League Two, given how many squads are strengthening and attempting to seize the opportunity for promotion to League One. I hope that we will be challenging for promotion by the time 15 games have been played. It would be incredible to harness the energy around the club to push us even further.
