  2. Last word from the Manager, Adam Dunleavy.
  3. All of the Notts ladies should be proud the way that they played. Peterborough had a big fright & only a dodgy penalty allowed them to get the win.
  4. Sad that Johan Neeskens has died. Dutch legend of the 1974 & 1978 World Cups. Former Netherlands midfielder Neeskens dies aged 73 WWW.BBC.CO.UK Netherlands legend Johan Neeskens dies...
  5. Update from Stuart today McDonald & Ness will feature in the game against Northampton, so will Brown, Martin & Reynolds. Ness will get his first minutes for Notts in his quest to build up his fitness. Stuart thinks highly of him, so it will be interesting to see how he performs. Expect more academy players to feature too. So it will be a mixture of first teamers, squad players & academy players in the team Tuesday.
  6. Update Jodi Jones. Out till at least January 25. Curtis Edwards. Out till at least January 25. Conor Grant. Knee injury, six weeks out minimum David McGoldrick. Sore hamstrings. Lucas Ness will play against Northampton Tuesday evening according to Stuart Maynard today.
  7. Dan Crowley has been nominated for the PFA Player of the Month for September. Well done to Dan for getting nominated.
  8. @liampie If I write about the weather I put a disclaimer in there like should or might otherwise I just post the MET website. You just never know nowadays. Here we have blue sky all around. I managed to do an hour in the garden ????
  9. I will join @Fan of Big Tone & urge anyone who can afford it to consider subscribing to this great site. For just over a £1 a week, the price of a chocolate bar, you will be helping to secure the future of PON & help @Chris maintain & improve the site.
  10. Good Afternoon. The Sun is out for a time but it's very cloudy. We had rain overnight here but not as much as forecast We might get some impact from ex Hurricane Kirk, now Storm Kirk, later on this week, which will largely impact France. There will be plenty of rain in that storm, but most of the worst of it should miss us here. Looking outside still plenty of Bees working hard on our prairie flowers.

  13. I think that Notts have improved regarding players up front being able to defend when required. I think that Stuart demands that trait from his forwards. We have seen Didzy making a last ditch clearance off the line & Jatta heading away corners. As far as Nemane was concerned, he was great going forward but not so defending. I maybe understand why he was released. I believe Notts are becoming a better all round side this season compared to the Williams era.
  14. A big welcome from me @Richard Eley PON is a friendly place & a great community to talk about Notts & things in general.
  15. These are the ratings for the Notts players against Vale from whoscored.com
  16. @Super_Danny_Allsopp Notts are one point behind the league leaders. They have scored 17 & only conceded 9. Williams had conceded 19 goals at the same stage last season. Have faith. Stuart will work it out. He's done quite a lot to improve the team already.
  17. The ladies can be very proud of their performance today against the league leaders. It just shows how far they have come, compared to last season. It demonstrates that they can now compete with all the teams in this league if they play well.
  18. @Wheelbarrow repair man Notts are just one point behind the leaders on 18 points. Last season at the same stage under Williams we were top on goal difference with 20 points but leaking goals like a sieve. We continued to leak goals and dropped down the league like falling off a cliff because our defence wasn't up to it This season we have a very good defence & we are still scoring goals, the 2nd highest in the league to date. I don't see any reason why Notts cannot be there or there abouts come Xmas.
  19. It's great work you are doing @Chris Memories are being made and recorded that will last for generations to come.
  20. Hey guys. We sit on 18 points one point behind leaders Walsall. Are things that bad. I don't think so.
  21. @Super_Danny_Allsopp I think 2 is very harsh on Maynard. He played what he thought was his best eleven & you have to remember that Notts have 4 of their best players out, including their best, Jodi. It will take a few games for the team to adjust to his loss. With Maynard you just have to look at the bigger picture. He's sorted out the defence, which has improved immeasurably. Apart from the one goal conceded, the defence played well & the team created chances, but we just didn't take them. For the 10 games so far I'd rate Stuart 7.5/10
