  1. Notts team to play Worcester City Women today.
  2. Sky sports, BBC Sports, & Football Web pages report the attendance as 14,747.
  3. It's a grey & sodden Sunday here. Plenty of rain overnight. Must have been a wild during the night. Some of our flowers have collapsed. There is still a yellow ⚠️ out for Nottinghamshire. Keep safe if you are going out. @Fan of Big Tone you went away at the right time, missing the deluge followed by a grey miserable day We won't be going out today. Just a quiet day at home.
  4. Update. Crowley, Bedeau & Platt are tying at the moment with 2 votes each, for the man of the match crown against Gillingham. Poll closes at 6 pm Sunday.
  5. Weather for Sunday Morning
  6. Notts U 18s lost their match today against Mansfield 1:2 by a late goal for Mansfield.
  7. Concerning that Jodi limped off near the end of the match against Gillingham. Stuart Maynard talked about it during his post match interview & intimated that the Club will assess his injury on Monday. Will be very unlucky for Jodi & Notts if he is out for a while. What's more concerning is that the injuries to players are mounting up. There is good news that Cedwyn Scott is on the road to recovery, so is McDonald & Ness, but Jatta has had a recurrence of the effects of his head injury, Edwards out till at least Xmas, now Jodi. Just hope that Jodi's injury isn't serious & he won't be out for long. He'd be certainly missed for his creativity.
  8. Worcester City v Notts C Women The kick off is 2pm Sunday
  9. Eastwood CFC, the home of Notts County WFC
  10. After today's results the League 2 table looks like this.
  11. I've gone for Matty Platt as Notts man of the match. He's been so good for Notts all season & he was the same today. I think our defensive unit, including Jacob & Lewis played well too, against a very good side.
  12. Notts could easily have won this match with more luck. Notts weren't at their best today, but I give a lot of credit to Gillingham for doing their homework on us & largely nullifying the threat from Crowley & Jones today. Notts had their chances in that first half & late in the second half & on other day those chances would have gone in. Tsaroulla hit a post, & Abbott could have done better in the first half Notts could be agreieved that they weren't awarded a penalty in the second half, & had a goal disallowed near the end. The Notts defence were solid once again, a positive they can take from the match. Notts did miss the threat that Jatta can give to defences. He gives an outlet to Notts & is a good finisher in the penalty area. Notts will learn lessons from this match. Notts go on to play Morecambe in their next league match, so there's a good chance for Notts to get back to winning ways next week. The only concern is the growing injury list with Jones limping off late on.
  13. Please choose your man of the match from my shortlist. Can you describe why you choose your Notts player? My shortlist is. Jacob Bedeau: Matty Platt: Lewis Macari: David McGoldrick: Nick Tsaroulla: Jodi Jones: Dan Crowley
  14. Overall, Notts were not at there best today but they could easily have won 3:1. If the chances had fallen to Jatta or McGoldrick, for example, they may have put those chances away, that fell to Tsaroulla & Abbott. The Notts defence was pretty secure with Platt, Bedeau & Macari very secure, apart from the goal. The midfield wasn't fully on it but you have to give credit to Gillingham because they generally nullified the threat from Crowley & Jones. Grant & Abbott weren't on it today either, & Palmer is not yet back to his best. McGoldrick was nullified too, although he did a lot of running today. Gillingham are the best side we've faced & we could easily have gotten something from this game with more luck. Lessons will be learned from the defeat. A draw would have been a fair result. Our best players today, Platt & Bedeau in my opinion.
  15. Regarding the Austin goal that was ruled offside, the flag went up so late.
  16. A first loss for Notts. Notts 0 Gills 1 Lack of finishing has let Notts down today. Gillingham have done a smash and grab on Notts. I think Notts have missed Jatta big time today. He makes such a difference with his height and the outlet he gives us upfront. And he's a quality finisher in the box. Jones getting injured late on is a big concern.
  17. Substitution for Notts. Not another injury? Update.
  18. Update. Notts score but it's ruled offside. Very late flag
  19. Two substitutions for Notts. Notts 0 Gills 1
