I always knew that Notts could be very dangerous with hitting teams on the break & it looks like Stuart Maynard wants to exploit this to the full. What a team goal this was.

This is a good stat & Stuart Maynard may have something to do with it.

This side oozes character and you just cannot right them off even with such a disastrous start, going two goals down. Yes, we saw two defensive errors, something that has plagued Notts last season, but they held firm after that, then replied with four goals without reply. This Notts team never know when they are beaten, & with our flair up front most sides in this division will fear us Jodi Jones with two goals, & Jatta scoring once again for Notts, not forgetting Crowley from midfield too. Our substitutions are now changing matches too which is a big difference to last season. If something isn't working, Stuart can change it. Onward Notts go, now top of the league. Let's keep our feet firmly on the ground. There will be much better teams to play, but I think this squad of players will only get better as the season progresses.

NOTTS ARE TOP OF THE TABLE

This team oozes character with a capital C. A lot of teams would fold after a disastrous start, but this team has character, grit and fight to get back into the game, then go on to win it Lessons will be learned too. Stuart may have been better keeping with the same formation at the back, & I think it works better for Notts for JATTA to start the game A win is a win, & Notts march on still undefeated. PS, I hope Grant is not injured that he will miss some matches. He does a good job for Notts. I still say like a did last season. If in doubt, kick it out

What a comeback. A win for Notts on the road

JONES!! Penalty

Start of the game He's got a cheek

Stuart has chosen his team to play Bromley. Palmer gate his first start as Captain. Just the one striker as I thought & four midfielders start the game.

The match ends in defeat for our under 18s Notts 1 Rotherham 3. Muir with the Notts goal.

The Notts under 18s are playing Rotherham today at home. Team for this morning's match below.

Jodi is doing just fine doing what he is doing, creating chances for others. Any goals that he scores is a bonus for Notts. It will be fascinating to see what side Stuart chooses. There won't be many changes, but will he choose just one striker & an extra midfielder for an away game?
