Jodi is just continuing on with his form from last season and long may it continue. He is an integral part of the Notts side & much of our attacking play comes through him. I'm so pleased that Notts have held on to him past the summer transfer window. I would love to see Notts offer Jodi an improved contract because it would be well deserved. Meanwhile, another piece of silverware for him would be another testament to his great ability on the ball.

Your Tuesday Morning Weather

Stuart is absolutely delighted in the form that Notts are showing, & he has a right to do so Stuart inherited another Manager's side that were struggling at the back & did his best to stabilise the side before season's end. Now he can call this squad his squad, & he has put together a strong squad over the close season. But it does need a Head Coach to gel those new players into a good strong squad, & Stuart is doing just that. The work on the training ground is paying off & we certainly saw that in practice in the last three matches. The players that have come in are working well together & Didzy, for example is showing a new lease of life. It is early days in the season, & Notts are yet to play the top sides, but there is a buzz & a confidence around the Club at this time that this team can go places

I think that Notts have a gem in George Abbott & I hope that Notts can keep him for the whole season as agreed with Spurs. When he came here I read that Spurs fans thought a lot of him and they were right too. His debut for Notts was brilliant & for such a young age, George has a good footballing head on his shoulders. He was my pick for man of the match against Accrington. It will be fascinating to see how Stuart solves his growing selection headaches. It's going to be difficult for Stuart not to pick him against Bromley. I think a Palmer & Abbott partnership in the centre of midfield for Notts would be awesome, but we do have some really good players like Roberson & Edwards, who will have something to say about that.

Paul began is professional career at Notts, became a fan favourite & a key player too He left for pastures new & became a favourite everywhere he went & went on to have a successful club & international career. We have seen that same scenario at Notts over the many years I've been supporting Notts. Notts discover gems, who do well for us before joining other clubs where they flourish too. I wish Notts could have held on to players like Paul, but still glad that he helped us win the Ango Italian Cup.

@Super_Danny_Allsopp I think you may be right about Scott, I don't think that he's up to League 2 standard. National League may be his level.

George Abbott trending on X. Looks like his debut game is being noticed.

I think the way Notts played made Accrington look a poor side. Alassana,Jodi & Dan are a hard treble act to replace, but the team certainly showed today that replacing them this season, won't be such a big disadvantage as it would have been last season.

I'm absolutely chuffed with this win because we had three key players out, but the team responded magnificently to the task & gave Notts a win, that last season, they wouldn't have got. Didzy shon once again up front, with special mention to our defensive unit that were solid once again. The midfield area worked so well together too, with George Abbott standing out. What a debut for him. It will be hard to leave him out against Bromley. This game proves that Notts have a much stronger squad now. It's important because it's going to be a long season & players will get injured.

A win for Notts. Notts 2 Accrington 0 How about that debut from George Abbott? Jacob Bedeau stands out too. But the defence solid too. Nothing more to say about Didzy, he's pure class & really enjoying leading the line And more importantly, we have a squad to reckon with now.
