The car has passed it’s MoT one little advisory one of the rear tyres will need replacing soon. It was reasonably pleasant waiting for the MoT at the dealers, free coffee, a telly, lots of magazines and newspapers and a viewing window into the workshop to see my car being tested. Best of all not a penny to pay! I have been thinking of changing to a new electric car, there are some good deals at the moment but I love my Citroen C3 Aircross, it’s got all the gadgets I want and I’ve still only done 28,000 miles since 2019, it still looks new so why change? Plus instead of spending on a car that money can go to more cruises. @Michael D Pie. that's awesome, I’d love to do that.

Morning all, I hope everyone is well. I’ve got to take the car for an MoT today, I have a servicing contract with Citroen which includes a free MoT, annoyingly the dealer I normally go to in Nottingham no longer deal in Citroen cars so I’ve now got to go to Derby, the old dealer was on a bus route so I could come home but I’ll have to wait for this MoT at Derby, never mind I’ll take my iPad and read my book on with the kindle app.

If the brothers have any sense they won’t have any or certainly not read any social media, which is where the majority of the “supporters” who want them out seem to air their ridiculous views. I’ve said before that anyone who says the brothers should leave our club needs their head testing, they obviously have very short memories of the shambles our club has been in recent years under a succession of poor owners. People should be careful what they wish for. The Reedtz brothers are slowly building a sustainable club that is fit for higher divisions where we are hoping to be in the future and I for one hope they are here for the long haul.

Interesting that Nuno’s Forest beat Ange’s Spurs twice last season.

With all the talk about the pitch before the match I expected it to be a lot worse than it was, I’ve seen a lot worse in my years watching football. The defence were excellent and Bedau played his part in that, it was great to get a clean sheet, let’s hope we get many more.

@Chris I remember hearing your name on the tannoy, I knew it wasn't you though because you’ve said before you aren’t a member. I joined almost from the outset and when I was made redundant in the 90s I cancelled it as I was out of work for a while, however when I got employment again I rejoined, I have had a couple of wins during my time as a member but more importantly it’s a way of supporting the club, I’m so pleased to hear of the projects that it has funded.

I wonder how long he’ll last? The owner demands instant success, if they don’t win the Europa cup and finish as champions he’ll probably sack Ange. 🤣

Interestingly some fans are suggesting that Nuno orchestrated his departure in order to get a big payout he signed a new contract in June then publicly criticised the owner in television interviews. However other fans are gutted to see him leave and are blaming the owner. I do feel this could back fire on the owner especially if the new manager doesn’t hit the ground running with some good results.

What a ridiculous state of affairs, what Nuno has done at Forest is truly unbelievable you have to wonder how this will affect the players, I don’t think the fans are too happy either.
