Fan of Big Tone

I think a lot of fans will be expecting us to win this after good results against Leicester and Luton as it’s “only” Burton but this will be no pushover, they have had a great start to the season and we need to guard against complacency. Dennis is bound to score against us, we’ll need all the players on the pitch to be on top form. I’m going for another draw 1-1.

I’ll stick with my black and white stripes, I don’t travel away anyway so never buy an away shirt. Tone (tight wad and traditionalist)

I’m not a fan of this colour but I know plenty who will be so I hope they sell lots.

Morning @Chris , morning all, I noticed a new look Dashboard which I like very much. Today we welcome our son back from Seattle, USA, where he’s been on business, as I write this he’s just landed at Heathrow, so we are glad he’s back safe and sound, we still worry about him no matter how old he is. Morning all, I hope everyone is tickety-boo it sounds like we are going to have some proper rain today although as I write this it’s yet to arrive. After much time spent speaking with the Citroen dealership they have finally acknowledged that £1,000 to change the timing belt on my car is a tad steep and have dropped the price considerably to £650 so I’m happy with that, still expensive but cheaper than a new car, it’d probably be cheaper at a smaller garage but I trust the dealer to do it right, they have the correct equipment a back street garage may lack. Anyway on with the day, I hope it’s a good one for you.

The doctor thinks it might be the start of skin cancer so he’s referred me to a specialist again, I’ll soon be on first name terms with the skin specialist at QMC. 🤣

Good morning, it’s the last week of August, I’ve noticed the nights are drawing in it’s getting dark earlier, Autumn will soon be here. I’ve got a doctors appointment this morning I want him to look at my nose which I think might be showing signs of more skin cancer, it doesn’t look much but could be early signs given my history of skin problems best to have it checked out. I hope everyone has a good day enjoy the sunshine but make sure you have sun tan lotion on.

Happy birthday @Robbie I hope you have a great day. Welcome to the club, it’s not so bad being 70 or over, you’ll get used to seeing old people and realising you’re one of them.

Another good all round performance from everyone on the pitch, special mention to Cooper, Roberts, Belshaw and Ness but for me it’s Bedau for MoM, he was a true warrior in the defence. @YoopEyes dont forget to actually register your vote at the top of this discussion in the poll.

It’s another great result I never expected we’d be unbeaten in those two games, is it too early to say we might stay up? We’ll probably lose to Burton next week, we are Notts after all.
