Good morning it’s a dry start here for a change, hopefully it will stay dry as we want to have a look around Scarborough, maybe some fish and chips for lunch. I hope everyone has recovered from the disappointing result at the weekend? Remember it’s only a game no one died. Have a good day everyone.

Last night around dusk we were lucky enough to spot a barn owl hunting in the fields we overlook, an awesome sight, it got quite close to the cottage so we had a great view. It rained very heavy during the night and early this morning here in Flamborough but by mid morning it had stopped and the skies cleared. We’ve been a walk around Bridlington, we parked on the front and the walked along the promenade to the harbour, obviously most things are shut and consequently it’s very quiet, on the way back to our cottage we stopped off at Tesco and got some lamb shanks for dinner tonight. Yum.
