  1. Notts will really have to step up their performance in the next match, they were well below par especially in the first half which is best forgotten. Will Jarvis was having a nightmare defensively and I think he should have been withdrawn when Tsaroulla came on. The best attacking player in the first half was Bedau who had several good shots. The second half was better when the subs came on and we were delighted but a bit lucky to be honest when we went 2-0 up from a superb goal from Whittaker and a second goal from Jatta whilst lying on the deck. Dennis pulled one back, I just knew he’d score when he came on and we had to endure a very nervy last 10 minutes or so. In the end none of that will matter because we got 3 points and a win so all’s well that ends well.
  2. Alex Bass gets my MoM he kept us in the game with some superb saves. Bedau also had a great game.

  4. That’s good news @Robbie, we need you fighting fit to keep the matchday thread updated, I’m sure it’s appreciated by those who can’t make the match.

  7. I’m hoping for a good entertaining match and a Notts win, ideally by several goals but a 1-0 would be better than drawing or losing. I’d like to see better use of corners, too many on Tuesday night were cut out by the first defender, Palmer has to do better and get the ball into the box. We also need more tempo when attacking, especially on the break, let’s not give the defence time to get back into position and organised while we do the slow build up. COME ON YOU PIES!
  8. Good morning it’s matchday. We’ve got the grandkids for a sleepover tonight, I’m taking Chloe to the match but Fred is not interested in footie so he’s staying with his granny, I hope it’s a good entertaining match with a positive result for Notts. Have a great day folks and COME ON YOU PIES!

  10. @liampie @Robbie I hope you’re both feeling better soon and anyone else under the weather. There are a lot of bugs about. I agree about the wind it seems as bad as that last named storm we had but I don’t think this one has a name, I’m not sure what the criteria is for naming a storm. Our curry night went down well, it was lovely, I’m hoping it wasn’t too calorific because I did allow myself a bit of naan bread. No beer or wine though.

  14. Morning all, it’s a wet and windy morning here but at least it’s warmer. Curry night for us tonight and Mrs. T is going to rustle up a nice Thai red curry for us. I’m still off the booze so my tipple for tonight will be sparkling water with a splash of ginger cordial. I’ve lost half a stone since coming back off holiday which I’m very pleased with, it’s three and a half weeks to my next holiday so I’d like to lose another half stone.
