i dont see the club selling either, i think the board are wise enough to know losing two key players is more than enough. selling jodi jones or dan crowley would be a major headache. even if we did sign someone to replace them both or just one, we would still need to give them time to settle in. crowley at this stage is and jodi has been with us during our national league promotion. i think both will stay for now, as i dont see it making sense to jump to a different club. mk dons are signing players for fun it seems, they need to settle down because they have had a poor start.

i think he was injury prone at birmingham city, but he is another player notts paid a fee for that ended up being a waste. i dont mean because of injury. his first season he did not do much for us and although i liked him. he was consistent, i wonder if it was due to issues with his knees?

ea sports have been doing a special kit as a means to get extra money from their fans, I think its sad. i think its just that a lot of clubs see fans as cash cows and its wrong.

i try to say hello to everyone because i think a friendly approach is important, but even in notts people act like its a crime to be polite. i used to help people pick things up, but twice i were attacked for doing it and other times i was rudely spoken to. i dont know why people have to be unpleasant or act like it. its a funny video, i wished there was a way to show it to some of the ignorant people i bumped into. ????

why does it sound like the guy was a lot like alan hardy? a "fantasist", i remember when he made a big thing of the indoor training facilities where over a hard gym floor. he just paid someone to put down artificial grass and called it state of the art!! plus he said that he wanted to build a hotel behind the back of the kop.

companies like football radar probably pick up people from within football, so its probably a thing that is quite common both ways. good luck to him.

in the clip of the fans, that is @Chris at the bottom right side. i like reading your thoughts on what fans and is posted on social media, i agree with what you say. its good to see more fans warming to stuart maynard. at times it has seemed personal, ever since the bbc did the piece about him giving up his bt technician job. some of those comments seemed unfair and it did take me away last season from wanting to discuss notts. i think the signs are there, we just need to have faith.

i am pleased for stuart maynard because you can see the improvements made so far this season and with our strongest 11, we look so much better on the ball and in defending. i know there were groans and concerns after Shrewsbury but even that had positives to take away from the game. doing well against a league one team is positive especially fielding what would be considered not our strongest squad going 2-0 up. the game against grimsby, the squad worked so hard for each other, it was very pleasing.

i have read stories that mentioned inappropriate texts, which could be anything but my first thought were along the lines of alan hardy. i hope its not the case. i dont know why you would bully or be mean to someone via text. it seems more likely serious than that.

shows you cant take things like this all that serious when they cant be transparent themselves, it looks like the account might have deleted the post or account. thats not good if so.

this is great, the notts foundation does a lot to help people. its one of the best parts of the clubs community schemes.

i did not rate him, i thought tobi adebayo rowing was going to be exactly the same but i thought he improved after his first season. both could not defend, struggled with heading the ball and passing. strange how we looked for players with height that had limited ability on the ball.

he can focus on his acting now. ????

it was a very good performance by curtis edwards, he seemed to be all over the place when we needed him and for all the running he did. you would not believe he was 30, its great to have someone with his passing ability and work rate in the team. he fits in so well and just offers something different. very clever on the ball!

i think the subscriptions and donations are very worth while causes, i have several prints and i keep telling myself i should get a few more for my home. i think is is a great idea! i do need to support the sites upkeep. ????

i thought notts made the game look very routine, from the moment the game kicked off you could see how the training had impacted how we played. such good quick football at times, where we would be patient when needed. i know we can only beat what is put in front of us but how poor were grimsby defensively? @Chris was spot on about their keeper. grimsby did look good going forward but not enough to make it look like there was anything more than just chances. i am not disappointed we conceded, not when we play like that and i did not see much wrong with our goals. i might be wrong, but grimsby fans calling the referee, i dont think he made any difference to the game. i dont know why our fans are praising them for the noise they made, they was silent for most of the game. it was a good amount for a thursday night and i respect that, but they could have been more involved. just like the grimsby town defence i suppose. as for the notts players, i dont want to single out any individuals because it was a great team performance.

most enjoyable 90 minutes watching notts i have seen, i dont remember the last time we played with such control and authority over a team. grimsby looked okay when attacking, defensively a shambles and their keeper looked awful. so pleased that we earned our first 3 points of the season, i hope more good performances are to come. its good to see stuart maynard enjoying a solid win too.

i thought this was new for a minute. ???? i was asking myself why we needed another defender. im not that bothered that we missed out or did not sign him, i am happy with the defenders notts have brought in and think with time they will settle.

surely they could just have a place to report and ban these numbers from calling? its partly why i only answer the phone to numbers that are not withheld. its annoying how nobody seems to be trying to cut these types of scams out.

its key that we dont over play him or use him in a way where he tires, because he cant do it alone but can be such a big part of our squad. not just because of experience but the way he reads games, how he gets people playing around him and whilst i have commented on his performances last season which i thought he lacked consistency. this so far he has done very well with the minutes given to him. 600 games is not something to be taken lightly.
