Did You Know? (Football Related)
i read notts were involved with the offside ruling and throw ins. its nice to see notts being connected to the first sub, i think football is much better with being able to make them but i dont like the new rules that restrict when you can make changes. very interesting fact, @Robbie.

Three England Managers.
i knew but it was not something i had thought about until now, i dont know much about howard wilkinson but i do know he used to be a manager. i think he played for notts too? not all that sure without looking him up. we should be proud to have 3 ex england managers.

Opposition View: Swindon Town Fan Lee Witts' Honest Analysis Ahead of Notts County Match
i think lee has given us a good insight into swindon, its difficult sometimes to start well but i think they will improve. i do feel very confident from a notts perspective but we are still working on our away form ourselves. so, swindon might be a bit harder for the fact they are at home and wanting to avoid dropping further points.

Jermaine Jenas sacked by BBC
hes now come out apologising, saying he thought his text were between consensual adults. it looks like he has been acting flirty and again, sounds like ah stuff without twitter. ????

Is I Robot Much Closer to Reality?
it is very scary @Robbie, i think robots could serve some purpose but i dont see why we are obsessed with reaching the point that humans have basically reinvented a metal version of ourselves.

Where are they now : Kevin Nicholson
i would not have known any difference, but i can see the confusion.

Notts County Women FC /Juniors
if the womens team can invest in the coaching standard at junior level, one day they will come through to the first team and help to bridge the gap between the standard of players we have compared to the standard of the next level. they are the future and i hope some will make the main team one day.
-
Game postponed for a weird reason?
the standard and expectations further down the leagues are not very good, forgetting your kit should result in points docked. its that tin pot. ????

It could be wurst
pukka pies are the only thing i would buy if i was hungry and at a push, i was not aware that notts had stopped selling them. do you have any ideas why? @Piethagoram i thought the pies were pukka ones, but i suppose we could have generic ones now. i cant say i have noticed because like others i eat before or at a restaurant. rather than any of the vans or club offerings.

Energy Price Cap to Rise 10%.
i work long hours to be able to fuel my car, pay my utility bills and food. then have to repeat to make sure i can save money, instead of spending it all. the uk is very poor with helping and making living conditions better. i know there is worst issues that exist, but we are supposed to be one of the best countries. its an unfair increase. i am already agreed to a tariff which is okay for me but the cost of living is too high.

Sven-Göran Eriksson: A Legacy Remembered at Notts County
in some sense what he did for notts was heroic because he forfeit every promised to him upon leaving, his wages and even tried to find the club a new owner. its something we can feel in debt to sven for. reading comments from fans who had the pleasure of meeting him, he seems very down to earth despite his fame. very saddening news of his passing.
-
RIP Sven
very sad news, rest in peace sven.

Notts Alumni: Tom Keetley
such a great read this, @Chris. i know a lot came out during our national league season, but tom keetley needs to be in the notts hall of fame which seems a second thoughts these days. he truly impacted notts and I'm pleased that he has a headstone on his final resting place. without that, it would be very upsetting. his memory lives on with us.
-
Welcome to Notts, Lucas Ness
it looks to be a good signing, i think from what i have read he does sound very promising. a bit miffed at the off the line blogs tweet. i know two charlton fans who said that he is a talented defender. reading charlton fans online, i dont think he would fall under straightforward. it comes across as a safe way to give praise. we have been signing players based on their season stats, potential and ability. i get the joke about torquay but its an easy thing to point out. we have not signed that many in truth.

Game 2: Loughborough Lightning v Notts County Women
good luck to the womens team, i hope they manage to get another win.

Dan & Jodi: Can Notts Keep Them?
i dont see the club selling either, i think the board are wise enough to know losing two key players is more than enough. selling jodi jones or dan crowley would be a major headache. even if we did sign someone to replace them both or just one, we would still need to give them time to settle in. crowley at this stage is and jodi has been with us during our national league promotion. i think both will stay for now, as i dont see it making sense to jump to a different club. mk dons are signing players for fun it seems, they need to settle down because they have had a poor start.
-
Geraldo Bajrami out for the season.
i think he was injury prone at birmingham city, but he is another player notts paid a fee for that ended up being a waste. i dont mean because of injury. his first season he did not do much for us and although i liked him. he was consistent, i wonder if it was due to issues with his knees?

Bochum's cup shirt
ea sports have been doing a special kit as a means to get extra money from their fans, I think its sad. i think its just that a lot of clubs see fans as cash cows and its wrong.
-
Northerner terrifies Londoners
i try to say hello to everyone because i think a friendly approach is important, but even in notts people act like its a crime to be polite. i used to help people pick things up, but twice i were attacked for doing it and other times i was rudely spoken to. i dont know why people have to be unpleasant or act like it. its a funny video, i wished there was a way to show it to some of the ignorant people i bumped into. ????

Great investigative journalism into Inverness Caledonian Thistle
why does it sound like the guy was a lot like alan hardy? a "fantasist", i remember when he made a big thing of the indoor training facilities where over a hard gym floor. he just paid someone to put down artificial grass and called it state of the art!! plus he said that he wanted to build a hotel behind the back of the kop.

Football Radar man joins Cheltenham Town as analyst
companies like football radar probably pick up people from within football, so its probably a thing that is quite common both ways. good luck to him.

could you please post a summary @Piethagoram?
