dion kelly evans was always pretty wreckless with his challenges even here, its partly why fans seemed to go on about him. he was decent, and worked hard for us but nothing all that special. i think the challenge is sickening, i dont see why he decided to go in for it. i dont think he did it on purpose, but his speed was dangerous and the decision to try to tackle was poor.

except crowley was involved with winning the ball back, moving it around and working in a way that gave notts a edge. jodi was poor defending and only got into the game more when we needed goals. dont get me wrong, hes a great player and its fun to watch him but at times his decisions lost the ball. i would say without jones, we would have been unlikely to get back into it. for me it was easily noticeable that dan crowley had the better performance.

it was straight at the keeper, it looked a weak shot too. not sure how its a great save. its good keeping, making himself low and big, but if vardy had tried to hit a corner and that forced a save then it would have deserved the praise its getting. looks pretty standard to me, good move by leicester city but most good keepers should have reacted the same way.

supply and demand, fair play to those who can make good money from doing it. i dont see any arm in it, the way the internet has opened up, i think its a good thing that people can make a living selling items without having to have storage and what not. provided taxes are paid, its a good way to make an income.

good start to the season, is hollie fowler no longer the captain? it was to see one of our own as an important part of the squad. no idea if shes injured or something else, but was surprised she was not starting.

i have had two days of bad migraines, it comes and goes but its not effected me with working thankfully. not felt all that great. today has been different, i have felt okay. i think its the weather being all over the place.

i thought he came back like he had not been away, i like that he was coming wide at times and putting in crosses. there was bits to his game which i do not remember seeing before, such as him taking on players with the ball. usually he passes or turns to put his back as a way to protect the ball until he releases it. i thought his return gave us a big boost with trying to make something of the game.

jacob bedeau and matty platt look like fantastic signings, i think bedeau looks very calm and influential. its good to see how he has done, i left tranmere very impressed with him. i thought he was the better defender for us, getting involved and cutting out chances, but also being a big part going forward.

some very good goals in that clip, all are well taken but some a different level.

i guess it depends, i dont think we are looking for a regular starter and a new signing that is loan might be prepared to be more of a squad player. its their chance to get some experience if it does not work out, we dont lose anything. i do think things will open up come january, so until then i am happy to see the club consider loans.

i am not familiar with any of this but it sounds like the town has suffered. losing a club can be big as it impacts the community. i hope they reformed or another team took over.

it is remarkable and shows how clubs fortunes can change when everyone makes the same effort, fans and the club and making the club somewhere people want to be. yes winning helps, but if you take away the support it would be soulless even if notts won a match.

its going to be a tough game, but it will be pleasing to be back at meadow lane. i hope we can give a positive start as our fans could make the game sound very lively with support. i will be chanting and joining in, so i hope the players enjoy the occasion and manage to get a good result.

i like how hes focused on the teams side of things and is not getting carried away with having scored, he looks a very bright and talented midfielder who could get us goals. being in the right place at the right time is only part of it but it sounds like he did very well in his full debut. i hope he has that spark about him against fleetwood tomorrow.

notts has recently updated all the teams photos on the squad page on the official site, all but james sanderson?!? https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/teams could it be because hes out on loan or something? surely he cant be injured? other players who have had their images done are supposed to be carrying knocks, so i sway more towards him being out on loan and nothing said. or as i say it could probably be nothing. i found this topic by robbie when i was sleuthing on the internet. it makes for a good advertisement to potentially loan a player out. did he feature much in the pre-season?

i thought he was quite rounded as a prospect. he showed good hands, distribution was not bad, he could save shots close up and from outside the box. quite a flexible keeper, that just needed more coaching and time to fully develop. i do think it was his mental side that let him down, he seems very much lacking confidence by time he left. i dont think it was a lack of coaching from the goalkeeping coach, as i think it was kelvin pilkington back then and i thought he was brilliant. decisions higher up i think took the confidence away, as we did not improve all that much and then moved for a more experienced keeper.

yes, there is a couple of fans who have sold fake shirts in the past and dont like seeing anyone else do it. even though they could have approached the club to work with them, but decided they wanted to make money for themselves. very vocal towards attacking others who have better quality shirts. there is also someone who goes around selling fake shirts as ex player worn, jake from the merch group on pon posts about him. supposedly he found some really old geninue 80s shirts which were allegedly found in a barn.
