  1. very good result, when slocombe got sent off i thought it would end in defeat or a draw at the least. ruben did very well to smash his goal in, kyle is starting to crop up where needed but his 2nd was a stunner in its own right. i thought doyle did well in goal, perhaps not as much as some keep banging on but if it annoys dagenham then it worth it. great result.
  2. it should continue but the checks players have need to be done a little better, especially on match days temperatures should be checked on arrival and just before kick off. suspending the league or null and voiding it would be stupid, it puts the whole thing into a pointless area.
  3. i have a feeling it might get called off, its been a strange season with covid and waterlogged pitches. clubs unwilling to reschedule games, expect one. dover being rubbish. i am not sure what to make of this but i do want and hope the game goes ahead. it all relies on the weather tho. knowing our luck it will be called off.
  4. i think the game might be a bit of a struggle for both teams unless a goal early on opens the play, a draw is how i think it will end. i expect a very scrappy game.
  5. jimmy knowles might get some credit finally by those who continually unappreciated him. then again, the same happens with enzio until nights like today and then he cant do anything wrong until he goes quiet for several games. ruben rodrigues is class, hes extremely composed and skilful. 2-0!! wootton with both.
  6. they have pearce now at centre back? would have been good to get him back here as he has experience. think it will be down to how our midfield players and if we can keep focused throughout the game, i cant see it being lively on the goal front.
  7. i agree, i said it at the start of the season and he unfairly gained some criticism for playing out of position but i think hes been brilliant all season.
  8. it comes down to chance creation, i agree that notts are starting to over play their passing and the movement does not leave much opportunity to build confidence for the strikers as what changes do come, they have to rush to pull something off or they end up being pressured. cal roberts returning to in form would help to stretch the play but i totally disagree with those who believe effiong and wootton are the same type of player. the wider players need to draw more space imo.
  9. i dont think a draw is a bad result, a win would have been nice but i think the draw might come down to the players of both teams thinking the season will be suspended or whatever. i am happy for us to take the point, i just hope it means something in the long term.
  10. the game should have ended as a draw, our goal was not offside and we did okay but never really found the motion. hartlepool played like they wanted it more and worked as a team, one of the better sides we have played this season for me.
  11. big test to see if notts can consistently bounce back to winning ways or not. yeovil have been dire all season but that means nothing, i think on paper it should be easier for us and of form but on the day can change things. will be interested to see dke take on the useless former dickinson.
  12. poor result but its not something notts cant respond from. just disappointing we could not manage a draw, at least then we would have continued the unbeaten run. it needs to start again but i think boreham wood deserved the victory.
  13. penalty missed by kyle wootton, he looks tired and unlike himself. the pen was soft, but the woking keeper did well to save it.
  14. enzio being rested? i think hes been in good form, so i hope hes not injured or anything. enough attacking minded players to show that quality we have. rodrigues will be our key player i think. 1-0 win for notts.
  15. my prediction would be 2-0 notts. think wootton is due one, the other will probably be rodders.
  16. pleased to be the first one to welcome you back @AmericanPie. things are pretty much on the up it feels after weeks of negativity, fans wanted neal ardley out the moment we first lost. its disappointing but the players and himself have responded. we are on the verge of a potential 3 game lossless streak. if we win its a 3 game win streak and exactly what i mentioned in my wealdstone topic when fans wanted na out the most.
  17. tom walker should make his debut which is good that we have cover, enzio will hopefully be able to pick up from where he finished against wealdstone. i hope notts plays attacking football because the daggers struggle against sharp teams. if we play quick and pacey football, we should be able to get another win on the road and climb a bit more.
  18. he seems to have arrived for the right reasons, its an area cover is needed so hope he can contribute to notts winning some games whilst hes here.
  19. i think notts will win but i dont see the performance being great, i do feel there will be a few goals. think wootton will get on the scoresheet. doyle too. notts has to attack them but defend like lions at the back, its not the best start but i have faith in neal ardley. i want him to succeed because being a manager is not easy, having all these interferences does not make it easier.
  20. they seem a poor team from what i have seen, not being able to take chances and being poor in possession. there keeper is quite decent for this level, i dont know what to predict score wise but i can see it being a close game. unless notts lifts their performance on the pitch.
  21. i think all schools should be closed if this is a full lockdown and its being done to protect people, families are still going to see loved ones and people are still ignoring the risk.
  22. its great news, retaining players like cal roberts will only reward him and the club in the future.
  23. the sunderland game is very memorisable to me, i was not there but i did listen to the match. it was good to see how well supported notts was with all the travelling fans.
  24. i think it could be an eye opener for some fans who keep suggesting that they will batter us, i dont think its likely. i can see the match being close, if notts can lift their own performance and work harder then i feel it could help to put us back on track. until notts allowed maidenhead in, the game was very exciting and i personally feel that the football was very enjoyable to watch. the issue was the defence,
